Rumba is the dance of love and passion

Rumba is a dance-performance, which in comparison with other Latin American ball dances is very sensual. It promotes self-confidence, helps get rid of complexes and liberate. If you want to develop a plasticity of body movements, then rumba is a dance that will definitely help you in this. Its main elements are typical for all Latin American directions. "Rumba" is the Spanish word: it is translated into Russian as a "path", but the beginning of the "path" is unknown, because it is impossible to determine when exactly this dance appeared. It is known that it was invented by representatives of the Negroid race who brought it to Cuba from Africa in the 19th century.

In the rumba, the bodies of men and women become a means for expressing their love experiences: it was and always will be. In modern performance, this slow dance fascinates viewers with romance and mystery. This is not surprising, because Spanish music and African rhythms - this is what is characteristic of the rumba. The dance in its original version was always accompanied by drumming. La Paloma - one of the most famous melodies of the dance of love: the year of its appearance on the Island of Liberty was 1866th. Then the first share of the rumba began to be played as it is accepted in other Latin American directions. With their expressiveness, modern ballroom dances "Rumba" unite various variations of African performance in a single, beautiful image of unbridled instincts.

The new performance first appeared in New York, in 1925, when the first rumba club was opened. The founder - Benito Collada - did not immediately become popular, because the rumbo became more interested only in five years. And in another five years almost every American knew about this dance; Then the movie "Rumba" was released. The dance of love conquered Europe in the late 1940s: in London, he danced a talented couple Pierre and Doris Lovell. By the way, then the rumba for plastic movements was already significantly different from the one that its creators practiced in ancient times.

Modern Latin American dances "Rumba" can be divided into four main types: African, Cuban, Gypsy and classical rumba. They are largely different in content, but they are always united: the ability of both dancers to sensually lead and equally sensibly obey. The movements of the hips and body are the most frequently repeated elements: they are very elegant and frank. Professional stretching and perfecting the movements of partners is the guarantee of the beauty of the rumba. In classical ballroom dance, a bright and passionate accent is made on the score "times", and the main moves are to "two, three, four". Rumbu is difficult, and you do not need to describe when you can see it or dance, it's no coincidence that it is called a love dance.

In this dance there is a lot of artistry: the necessary sensual component. This is not surprising, because it is based, like a presentation, on the relationship between a man and a woman: she seeks to subordinate him with grace and charm, and he is her - physical superiority and male charisma. But this "history" of unrequited love, and whatever the dance, a woman always remains free in her actions: she teases and plays, awakening in him the secret experiences.
