Roses from satin ribbons - an extravagant addition of a home interior

Roses from satin ribbons always look very bright and original. They are like small works of art. With their help you can easily revive the home interior.

Roses look very extravagant at the curtains in the kitchen, the curtains in the bedroom, but most of all they are suitable for decorating the children's room. Little girls will be just delighted with such beautiful and bright flowers, attached to pillows, bedspreads, tablecloths. In addition, collected in flower bouquets, roses will look great on summer dresses, hats and handbags.

There are several ways to make roses from the fabric. The most relatively simple is the method of folding roses from satin ribbons. The resulting flowers, as a rule, decorate gift bouquets, boxes and even postcards. They can also decorate the bezel, hairpin or ribbon on the head.

So, the process of making a flower is simple enough, but requires diligence and accuracy. If you interrupt it, without collecting the rose to the end, the resulting blank will be blown. In order to make a medium-sized rose, you will need a satin ribbon about a meter in length and five centimeters wide. If the atlas was not rolled up, then it should be ironed. If this is not done, the flower will turn out to be crumpled and sloppy.

Fold the ribbon in half. Turn the lower end at right angles to the second half of the tape. Bend it so that it gently lies over the formed corner. Now at the bottom was the second end of the tape. Fix the resulting square with your index finger to avoid unfolding and deformation. The lower end is shifted upward, bending it at the intersection of the bands. In such a simple way, fold the entire ribbon until the tips are no longer than five or six centimeters long.

Do not forget to constantly hold the formed column. If he slips out of his hand and at least a little will be dismissed, everything will have to be done anew. So, in the end there should be some kind of pigtail. Next, we intercept the intersection of the ribbons with the thumb and forefinger and gently pull down one end, while not letting go of the upper edge. The satin stitch will be shortened. It is necessary to make sure that the end of the ribbon does not slip through the fingers, but, having become entangled in the bundle, forms a core. If you pull hard, the bar will bloom and the rose will not work. The shape of a rose from satin ribbons depends largely on the case. All the flowers are different.

As soon as the rose (from your point of view) gets the final look, fix with a thread its base, and best of all - sew so that it does not dissolve. If you pull too tight, then it will not turn out to be very lush. In this case, it will have to be dissolved, ironed, and everything is done anew. Roses from satin ribbons can be decorated with a transparent kapron fabric or small flowers and leaves.

Having mastered such an easy way to create flowers from the fabric, it will be possible to proceed to more ornate techniques. For example, Japanese Kansas decorations include flowers from satin ribbons. Their schemes are very simple, but as a result, original and exclusive hairpins and rims are obtained. In ancient times, ornaments from satin ribbons were very much appreciated among secular ladies at royal courts. Court fashionable women decorated their outfits with separate large flowers and bouquets of small roses.
