Physics: which class begins? What is studied in physics lessons

Every schoolboy will sooner or later get acquainted with the natural sciences, such as:

  • biology;
  • chemistry;
  • physics;
  • ecology.

But in this article we will only talk about such an object as physics. From which class begins, what is studied, what should be prepared for? All this will be discussed below.

What is this object?

Physics is the science of nature. All the textbooks and pedagogues speak about this. But in fact the definition is much longer, because this science studies almost all the laws that occur in the environment.

Students learn why any body falls to the ground, how water turns into ice, in which different values are measured (for example, atmospheric pressure, power and current) and so on. Physics (Grade 7) involves the study of many phenomena in nature as well as in everyday life.

What topics are studied in the 7th grade?

First, students will get acquainted with the science itself, briefly describe what it is. A good teacher will show either experiments or interesting posters. You need to have an idea of what physics is. From which class does the study of mechanics and the structure of substances begin? It is from the 7th, as these topics are the simplest and most accessible for understanding.

Imagine that you travel every day in transport or on foot, people are passing by. Another example: boiling water, brewing tea with sugar. At the lessons of physics, the teacher will tell you how these or other processes occur.

How to generate interest?

Any topic is related to real life. Since ancient times, people have sought to know the world, to understand how these or other phenomena occur. It is possible that you sometimes or often ask questions, for example on how birds and airplanes fly, why everything falls down, as there is an electric current and why the magnet attracts all iron or steel. All these questions will be answered by the physicist. From which class does the study of, for example, electricity begin? A sound? Remember that this subject begins with grade 7, and ends with the end of the school (in grade 11). Therefore, all sections will be considered within 5 years gradually. At the very beginning, the most elementary is studied. The main thing is to try to learn definitions with an understanding of the meaning, it will be easier to remember. Let's give an example.

The trajectory is the line along which the body moves.

What is this about? Let's first of all remember that in any science there are terms that characterize something. You first heard the word "trajectory", maybe even in childhood from adults. But they did not know what it was. Imagine that you go to school on a snow-covered path in winter. After you remain traces. Imagine a view from above. Tracks describe your trajectory as you move from house to school. There is a phrase, for example: an asteroid changed the trajectory. What does it mean? He moved in one direction, let's say from Mars to Jupiter, and then turned aside.

On the structure of matter

You will get acquainted with the concept of "molecule", which will meet in chemistry and biology. It is a very, very small substance that can be seen only under a powerful microscope. In the physics room there are posters showing the molecular structures of various substances (for example, water, metal).

For the first time students have to get acquainted with laboratory work, which is obliged to conduct physics. From which class does the study begin, research on this or that topic of the lesson? It was from the 7th. Be sure to listen to the teacher, write down what necessary tools and accessories bring to the next lesson.

Interaction of bodies

You have to learn how the bodies interact with each other. You will learn a lot of new terms, as well as Newton's three laws, explaining how these or other phenomena occur. Suppose in a pool one ball hit another, both rolled back. Why did this happen? This explains the physics in the school.

In addition to definitions (terms), you need to study the units of measurement, formulas. It is very important to know good mathematics, so that when solving problems there are no difficulties.

Pressure of liquids, gases and solids

Interesting and useful topics will be in the study of this section: atmospheric pressure, ships sailing and much more. Despite the complexity, a large amount of information, it will be interesting to know why the ships are not drowning.

Physics (Grade 7) offers to study only what we see every day. Try to pay attention to everything around. For example, look at the weather forecast. They will definitely tell you what temperature is expected in the coming days, whether there will be precipitation, wind, and also will inform what atmospheric pressure and wind force will be.

Work, power, energy

This section will tell you about what is happening among us, but we do not see it. What does physics study in this case? From what class does the study of work, power, and energy begin? Also from the 7th grade. Let's see. For example, a kid is taking a sled along the path. What's happening? The work is being done. The kid spends his energy, especially if the sled is heavy. Power also makes sense here, because it can assess how the child will cope with his task.

Be sure to study each definition on real examples, drawings, diagrams. Memorize the formulas and designations of these and other parameters. You will need them for further study of the subject.

Here we are with you and understood from which class they are studying physics, with which to be introduced. From you now depends a lot: to ensure that the subject was given successfully, you need to start to take an interest, apply what you are studying in real life.
