Overview and history of the Fiat 127

The third generation

In the early eighties of the last century, the third generation saw the light. The developers have slightly transformed and refreshed the design of the car. In particular, the rear and front parts of the Fiat 127. were changed. It should be noted that many features of another novelty from this manufacturer-model "Ritmo" were borrowed here. Under the hood of the car was installed a 1.3-liter gasoline power unit, capable of developing 74 "horses". Some changes also touched the saloon, which began to meet the new trends in the automotive industry of that period. In 1983, the Italian manufacturer introduced its new Uno model. After that, the company's management decided to stop the production of Fiat 127. At the same time, it should be noted that the car assembled in South American factories almost to the mid-nineties of the last century. Moreover, it was actively supplied to the markets of different countries (including Europe) until 1987.
