Organization of road traffic: the path to civilization

The development of civilization and the universal progress of mankind have always been inextricably linked with the transport industry. This is logical, because from the very beginning of history and to this day people needed a convenient movement of various goods, things and animals. But even in ancient times people were able to clearly organize their way. They had a destination in front of them and went to it in an orderly manner.

The scheme of the organization of traffic

Let us turn to history. Apparently, the organization of road traffic goes back to the past. The story says that the ancient leaders, leading the war, acted in a very organized manner, placing a specific logical task before the army. Together with the military leader, they thought over the strategy, namely, how to split the army, how many detachments, how many people and where to send them. Such preparation was the key to a successful battle, because accurate planning saved time, the forces of brave warriors. In addition, a carefully thought-out route used to provide places where horses can stay at a full watering place. Even in the troops of the great king Darius and the commander of Alexander the Great there were people responsible for the order and organization of the orderly movement. Their job was to control the movement speed of the army, so that at the right moment it was possible to correct the order of the movement, for example, by passing one of the necessary units forward. History assures readers that road services existed since the time when the civilized world was only rising from its knees.

Modern organization of movement

To get to your destination as safely as possible, today you just need to follow the rules of the road. They are aimed at improving quality, safety and speed. Periodically, the authorities make decisions about the optimization of traffic. This event includes a set of measures that are designed to maximally improve the system of transport interchanges.

For today for the future drivers the special system of training which at the final stages includes the examination is developed. Ideally, a driver who is deeply acquainted with the organization of traffic on the roads receives the right. Practical exercises with the instructor prepare for unforeseen situations and various obstacles in already real situations.

Optimization of traffic

The scheme of traffic management has been significantly improved. To date, the authorities are actively working on the maximum improvement of the traffic interchange in major cities. In some regions, there is a separate lane for the movement of public transport. This pilot project is designed to minimize the number of traffic jams and optimize traffic.

Road signs

Quite frankly, no organization of the road traffic would be possible without them. They play an important role. This is the technical means of organizing traffic. Signs are graphic drawings that carry useful information about further travel on the roadway. Although the purpose of signs in different countries is quite the same, they themselves can differ substantially from one another depending on the locality in which they are located.

Signs are the most diverse. Their task - to warn, for example, about the danger, a slippery road or the presence of deep pits. There are also prohibitory signs. They often have a red color and unequivocally suggest that there is no road ahead.

Information signs are rarely red. Usually they are blue or yellow. Thanks to them it is possible to orient in relation to the further road. It is informational signs that carry information about an imminent approach to a gas station, a populated point or a hostel.

It is noteworthy that not only the driver is obliged to know the signs of traffic . Pedestrians, although they do not get a driver's license, should be well acquainted with the meaning of those or other graphic images on the road. This will increase the level of safety and minimize the likelihood of a road accident or other accident. Traffic lights, like signs, differ from each other in the number of colors and their location. Two-color traffic lights with a painted "little man" are the simplest, but there are other traffic junctions on major traffic junctions. The meaning of their signals must be known to both drivers and pedestrians.

SDA in our time

To, as they say today, pass on the right, it is required not only to undergo a full medical examination, but also to spend a lot of time to know how the traffic organization works.

In our time there are no Roman guards. In their place on the roads are police officers and control, so that the traffic organization is respected. Non-compliance entails criminal or administrative liability. Certain rules were drawn up. The organization of road traffic (its rules) is obliged to follow every driver. This protects both themselves and pedestrians.
