Ordinary (the photo is presented below) is a land and water reptile. Zoologists know it as such. Diners are excellent swimmers, as well as food lovers in the water or near water bodies. This snake is common throughout Europe, except the Far North. It can be seen on the banks of rivers, marshes and lakes inhabited by thick bushes. Wet forests are simply a divine habitat for him. In addition, the snake occurs in abandoned buildings, ruins, in cellars, in garbage heaps and so on.

For example, these snakes simply love to settle in chicken coops, where they easily find a common language with the hostesses of this "institution" - the chickens. From time to time these snakes lay their eggs in nests that were abandoned by chickens or ducks.
