One day of Ukrainian national jurisprudence

In the period of the Maidan and other "revolution of dignity", one of the main mottos of the bloody disgraces that were performed over the crowd was the rule of law. Here in Europe, everyone lives by the law, and you will. It is one for all, and what is written in it is necessary for execution. As far as it turned out, one can judge only one day in the life of the country, which, as they say, has chosen the European way of development.

Kotsabe's verdict

So, the event is the first. On May 12 in the court of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, a verdict was announced to journalist Ruslan Kotsaba. He received three and a half years. He was very lucky, accusations of subversive activities, as well as many other crimes, such as exposing the MATU in the murders of civilians in the Donbas, could not be proved. Otherwise, I would go for the state treason, and "rolled in" to the full. Or for the disclosure of "sovereign taemntsi." Kotsabu was also suspected of collaborating with Russian TV channels. It's good that Ukraine still has a moratorium on the death penalty. However, the journalist could also be killed by "activists", having learned his address and other details on the site "Peacemaker". But more about this later.

Ruslan has been sitting for a long time, since February 7 of last year, and therefore a significant part of the punishment has already been taken off. A day in jail is considered for two, one year remains (BBC). Such a lengthy investigation was able to prove only what Kotzaba did not hide: he called for boycotting mobilization and considers the war in the Donbass to be criminal and fratricidal. This is the opinion of many other citizens of Ukraine, it is very dangerous to simply express it.

By the way, the human rights organization Amnesty International recognized Kotsabu as a prisoner and appealed with an appeal to release him. He, of course, is not Savchenko, but still ...

Law on the Prosecutor General

Again, today there has been a rapid approval of the law just adopted by the Verkhovna Rada. To get acquainted with the text of Poroshenko, there was enough time - what to read there ("RBC-Ukraine"). Urgency is explained by the fact that this document was developed as if specifically for a particular case. There is an applicant for the post of the Prosecutor General of the country, but one trifle prevents this worthy person from taking the responsible chair and the corresponding cabinet, namely, the lack of legal education. And so, everything is in order, with convictions, and with personal devotion. The name of this candidate is Yuri Lutsenko, he is known to everyone, and not only with a conscious, intelligent and slightly tired look because of his glasses, but also throwing his watch and mobile phones in German policemen. It was a long time ago, at the airport, we sat a little, drank, and the prosecutor general will be excellent. Right now, the candidature has been submitted to the parliament for consideration. And so everything is fine, Yunokommunarovsk is now ordered to call Bunge, Torez by the city of Chistyakovo, Sverdlovsk by Dovzhansky, and so on. Stakhanov was also renamed Kadievka. Residents of the peninsula can sleep peacefully - despite their apostasy and separation, the Kiev leadership continues to take care of them. As many as 75 Crimean settlements now have the right to be called in a new way and live the same way. Probably, the name of the Kirovsky district of many of them annoyed, and now here's how beautiful: Islamteretskiy. Or here instead of pos. Leninsky - Edikuysky. The Soviet region will no longer be on Ukrainian maps, now they will print a new name - Ichkinsky. Other masterpieces of toponymy sound no less exotic: Kuchuk-Alkaly, Sultan-Saray, Orak-Azhi, Bai-Konchek, Mishen-Naiman, Jadra-Sheikh-Eli and so on. PGT Lenino - Food-Kuyu.

Illegal publication

And here again about journalists. Ukrainian masters of the agitprop did not like the idea of the organizers of the site "Peacemaker" to publish the names of those who were accredited in the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. They think that this is illegal. After all, the work of a journalist is to cover events, and it is important that, at least theoretically, they can be present. But this is not allowed in Ukraine today, because someone will not hold out and write some truth, and then what? And now the way out is found, on the official page of the site "Peacemaker" any conscious activist can find out the names of potential (and possibly already held) renegades, as well as addresses, telephones and other requisites. Now nothing will prevent you from carrying retribution, the police do not count.

By the way, earlier, while on this site the names and addresses of the "separatists" and their families were spread, as well as personal data of Russian pilots fighting in Syria, these same journalists were not indignant. They were worried now that touched them.

According to the head of the EU Delegation in Ukraine Jan Tombinsky, the information was published illegally. The European official strongly condemned this act.

The raid on Poroshenko

The European Parliament votes in the Crimea

This is also today's news. The hearts of European deputies are burning with indignation at the oppression of the Crimean Tatars. The organization of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami is banned. It was allowed in Ukraine, and now it has undergone repression. True, she is considered an extremist even in Turkey and the US, not to mention the Central Asian and many other countries, but the oppression of democracy is evident. And on the basis of this, the European Parliament will demand the return of the Crimea to Ukraine, let Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami further recruit volunteers into the groups of Islamists. Because the law is one for all. True, the decision taken in Brussels has the same attitude to the Crimea as the renaming of settlements by the Verkhovna Rada, well, okay.
