New "Phaeton": "Volkswagen" is becoming more luxurious

According to the representatives of the German automobile manufacturer, when creating the latest model "Faeton" Volkswagen sought not only to improve the previous modification, but to bring together different stylistic directions in its new model range. Most likely, it is this that can explain the fact that most innovations have affected the appearance of the car. In the eye at the first glance at the novelty immediately throws an aggressive radiator grille and abundant application of chromium-plated elements. It should be noted and more powerful, but at the same time, elegant LED bi-xenon headlights, used in the new model "Phaeton". Since the model is considered a top-class sedan, the interior uses materials of the appropriate grade. Moreover, a wide range of individual changes are available to the customer. A distinctive feature of the new "Phaeton Volkswagen" was a significant expansion of the space for the rear passengers. Designers provided for them two separate places, each of which can be adjusted in eighteen directions. Another modern innovation in the car was the navigation system, which has the ability to download via the Internet data on the route and traffic situation on it. Such information is analyzed and stored on a hard disk, the volume of which is 30 gigabytes.

The Germans justified all their earlier hopes for high car safety - their new "Phaeton Volkswagen" they equipped with a variety of sophisticated electronic systems. Here, for the first time after the model "Tuareg", at the request of the buyer, you can install Dynamic Light Assist - a driving assistant, whose function is to recognize other vehicles through the camera and alert the driver to the possibility of dangerous situations. Another program that should be noted is Side Assist. This assistant is activated automatically when the speed reaches 60 km / h. It is designed to improve the safety of passengers during a strip change and warns the driver about the presence of other vehicles in the so-called blind areas.

The 2013 Volkswagen Phaethon is realized in two variants of length, the first of which is standard and is 5059 mm, and the second is elongated, 5179 mm. As for the engines, their range has four main options. The first is the V-shaped petrol "six" with direct injection, which has a volume of 3.6 liters and a power of 280 horsepower. It also has a diesel version, which boasts a fairly low fuel consumption - an average of 8.5 liters per "hundred". The next engine is a V-shaped gasoline "eight" with a capacity of 335 "horses". The top-of-the-range power unit in the lineup was the W- engine with a capacity of six liters, which, in combination with the five-speed "tiptronic", dispels the novelty from the ground up to "hundreds" in 6.1 seconds, which is very commendable for cars with such dimensions. The power of the unit is 450 horsepower, and the maximum speed is 250 km / h. As for the cost of the new Volkswagen Phaethon, its price ranges from 3.212 to 4.660 million rubles, depending on the engine and equipment.
