Nar - a camel for man and the desert

Long ago, twenty thousand years ago, a "mammoth" kind of camel - the ancestor of a modern hunchbacked animal - resided on the territory of North America. When there was a global cooling, the camels moved on a long journey - in search of food and a more favorable climate. Then they did not yet have humpbacks - the main storehouse of energy and water reserves. The hump of a camel appeared much later, as a result of evolution.

Modern camel

Now it is difficult to imagine camels without a hump. Due to this natural gift, the camel is considered the most hardy animal on the planet. The hump is a fatty outgrowth. Thanks to him, the camel easily does without water for about two weeks, and without food and a whole month. Now there are three types: two-humped bactrian, dromedary - one-horned and hybrid cam. Nar is the result of crossing the first two species. From his parents he took the best qualities. Nara is much larger and more powerful than its ancestors. They are more adapted to life in harsh conditions, bring offspring more often. The one-horned camel of the bunk is only at first glance a single-horned one. In fact, he has two humpbacks, knit together in one.

Home camel

Nar - camel is only home. It's a hard worker. In the farm, camels have become popular for a long time. They are much more profitable to contain than cows. The animal rarely feeds and consumes a little water, which is convenient for keeping in harsh places. Easily tolerates both heat and cold, long-distance roads and heavy loads. Nar - a camel-breadwinner: his milk is fatter than goat's milk. From such milk, you get excellent butter, cheese and sour cream. The camel's meat is tender, tasty and nutritious. The adult bun reaches in weight eight hundred kilograms, from all this weight of fat practically is not present. Nar is a camel, which has exceptional quality wool. It is by nature like a thermos - does not let to the body neither cold nor hot sunlight. Another important difference between camel hair and the other is that it does not cause allergic reactions at all.

Why are camels so hardy?

Nar - camel, although home, but he, just like his wild relatives has all the necessary qualities to live in peace in the desert or go through it with the goods. To prevent hot sand from burning your feet, there are calluses on the feet of camels. The same growths are on the elbows and abdomen, so that you can lie down on the hot earth during the rest. Narrow nostrils are adapted to fully close to protect the lungs during a sandstorm. In the nose of the animal there are so-called cells. When you exhale, the moisture does not escape into the air, but accumulates in them, then to get into the stomach. Another bunch is a camel with perfect vision and smell. Feel the smell of water and food they can for sixty miles! To see people are capable, being from them for kilometer, and moving transport - for four or six kilometers - depending on the terrain. Camels can quench their thirst even with salt water, which also has a considerable advantage in conditions of survival. After all, it is never known where the path leads to - the river or the ocean.
