A small town near Moscow Mytishchi, the sights of which will become the topic of this article, is located nineteen kilometers from the capital on the outskirts of the Meshcherskaya lowland. History

In ancient times in the place of this city was the village of Loshakovo. Over time, other settlements joined it, thus forming a parish.

At the end of the XVIII century Catherine II issued a decree, according to which it was necessary to lay a gravity water pipeline from Mytishchi to Moscow. For a long time he supplied the city with water from the Mytishchi keys. The water supply began to work in 1804. In the XIX century, the first textile factories appeared here.

In 1860, Mytischi became an important transport hub near Moscow, and the village community acquired characteristic features of the future city. In 1896, one of the largest Russian wagon production plants, which belonged to a group of industrialists, began operating in Mytischi.
