However, only a few know the truth about the history of dance.

It is widely believed that the author of the lunar gait is Michael Jackson, but this is not so. Yes, it was he who brought this movement to perfection and brought him worldwide fame, but he was not the author - the lunar gait was shown to the public long before his performance, although under a different name. So, back in 1932 this dance movement (albeit in a slightly different form) was used by Cabood Calloway, and in 1943 - by actor Barro. This movement was shown and just before the performance of Jackson - in 1982 it was demonstrated by Jeffrey Daniel.

And Michael Jackson himself in his book called "Moonwalk" admits that even before he came on the scene, the lunar gait was used by dark-skinned boys from the ghetto. At them, he mastered the basic movements, improved something, added something from himself and improved it.

So, by 1983 the new movement was completely refined and honed by the famous singer. It was this year that Motown Rek celebrated its anniversary, and in her honor the singer performed with the song "Billie Jean" and an unusual dance that instantly became popular. Not surprisingly, many believe that his author was Michael Jackson - the lunar walk made him famous, and he made her world famous.

In fact, the lunar walk of Michael Jackson is quite simple, and to fulfill it does not need any special talent. We need only free time and a sincere, active desire to learn.
