Liquid stones on the nails - it's spectacular

Liquid stones on the nails look as if they were created not by a nyl-designer, but by a jeweler. Opals, rubies, amethysts and emeralds, made from special polymers, look like a skillful inlay. Very often they are supplemented by a drawing in another author's technique - "Casting", with which you can achieve a full impression of a precious metal and stone product, or "Velvet sand", which allows the nails to look like embroidery on an expensive oriental fabric.

The technology of making such jewelry can be fully found, for example, in the courses of Elena Miroshnichenko. Nails, liquid stones on which look like real precious and semiprecious stones, decorate the portfolio of any nail designer.

What is necessary to make such beauty?

You will need not only technical skills, but also special materials. Polymer "Liquid stones" is a special product. It guarantees the durability and speed of the design.

How to make "liquid stones"

For work we need:

  1. Thin and wide brushes for drawing with colored gels.
  2. Tear-off foil.
  3. Protective gel without dispersion.
  4. Stained glass gel.
  5. Colored gels.

The sequence of the design of "liquid stones" against the background of "cast" patterns

With the selected shade of a colored gel, for example ivory, draw a line of jacket, dry in a lamp for two minutes. Then fix the background with a protective coating - and again 2 minutes in the lamp. Black gel, specially designed for the "Casting" technique, with the help of a thin brush draw lines resembling forged patterns. They should be neat, but not too thin, more like a sausage, otherwise the pattern will not be imprinted. Draw the area in which the future stone will be. When the image is ready, we also fix it in the lamp. A piece of detachable foil matte side pressed to the nail, sharply tear it off. Brilliant material will remain on the lines traced earlier. The impression is made of metal forging. Of course, the stones do not necessarily complement the patterns in the technique of "Casting" - this is just one of the options.

Then we proceed to work on the stone. First all the same colored gels are needed. The color is chosen so that afterwards, it would appear through the transparent stained glass gel, looked natural and imitated the natural beauty of the stones. For example, black under red will create the impression of a thickening red that can be seen in rubies. You can mix several colored gels. So, take a thin brush and color gels in an arbitrary order, paint over the area of the future stone. This layer is also fixed in the lamp. Then - the turn of the stained glass gel. The paint applied earlier will shine through it. Two layers: a colored gel
Plus stained glass - this is what will give the future stone its complex playing color. A layer of stained glass gel should also be held under the lamp. Our creation is already like a stone, but it lacks depth - it is necessary to create a volume. For this, a sculpted gel is taken. It is thick enough that you can put it in a drop. This "drop" is also fixed in the lamp. Cover the finished design with a protective gel without dispersion and last time dry the picture.

Is it possible to do liquid stones on your nails yourself, having available tools available on sale?

Of course, the heads of schools and courses assure that they do not. Of course, nothing prevents the masters from experimenting and trying, but one must always remember that experiments require time and money.
