The main indications for the use of Karsil are: liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, prophylaxis after acute hepatitis, any liver damage associated with toxic effects. In addition, this drug is taken for prophylaxis after prolonged use of drugs or alcohol.

Issued "Karsil" in the form of a dragee. The main component of this drug is silymarin, the most active component of which is silibinin. "Karsil" also contains auxiliary substances: lactose, wheat starch, talc, sorbitol, cellulose, magnesium stearate, sodium hydro-carbonate.

It belongs to the group of hepatoprotectors. This is a herbal preparation. Under the influence of this medication, active synthesis of proteins occurs, which does not allow destruction of the liver cells. Cellular metabolism is more intense, and toxins do not penetrate into the cellular structure of the liver. Contraindications are practically not available for the drug "Karsil".
