Irina Apeksimova: biography, personal and creative life of the Russian actress

At the very beginning of the daring nineties, viewers of the post-Soviet space found on their television screens a young, unfamiliar and very interesting actress. Irina Apeksimova was not like any of her female colleagues, she was difficult to call a beauty, but it's impossible to forget, it's very original. She performed roles in not very expressive melodramas and serials, but she did it great, creating some special image, stylish and provocative.

Childhood

The biography of Irina Apeksimova began in the hero-city of Volgograd, which only five years before her birth was still called Stalingrad. It happened this significant event - the birth of the future actress - in 1966, in the family of people who are directly related to art. Viktor Nikolayevich Apeksimov worked in the field of music education, the same mother and the future actress, Svetlana Yakovlevna, a former Odessa student, was also engaged in. His elder brother, Valery (he has another surname, the Light), became a pianist-jazzman, and then went to America, where he achieved fame.

The very atmosphere in the family was permeated with the rays of creativity, and no wonder that Irina grew up as an extraordinary girl, trying since childhood to ignore the rules prevailing in society. Studying at Volgograd school number 9, she did not concede to the boys in the quantity and quality of the prose, could easily participate in the scuffles, considered a major failure every chance received an excellent assessment.

Odessa and Mom

At the age of thirteen, my mother divorced her father and, taking Irina with her, returned to her native Odessa. Then in this city there was a school with a theatrical bias, a girl was given to her.

The Odessa dialect is generally sticky, and in particular to those who have recently come to this southern city. Indigenous people either get used to it and generally "do not hear it at all", or have a strong immunity to this accent. Odessisy stuck to Irina, it seemed, firmly, and that the worst thing - she herself did not notice at all. It is this circumstance that explains the first failure when trying to enter the Mkhatovsk school-studio. But the creative biography of Irina Apeksimova was just beginning, she understood that hard work was to be performed, and therefore was internally ready for it. In the Odessa operetta, they were always condescending to the presence of a kind of reprimand, especially when you consider that many of its artists and even leaders themselves are guilty of it. Especially since it was necessary to work in the corps de ballet.

Hard work, especially when it is conducted over yourself, gives results. The ability to own one's body is achieved by training up to the seventh bloody sweat. The following year, there was another attempt, unfortunately, also unsuccessful, and for the same reason.

Volgograd and admission to the Moscow Art Theater School

Next year, Irina Apeksimova spent in her native Volgograd, trying to forget the Odessa speech. On the Volga, his reprimand, and also different from the ideal, but the result of selfless efforts was the successful overcoming of difficulties. In the Volgograd musical comedy I managed to get rid of the wrong accent, and at the same time to get new skills of the stage play.

The failure with the arrival depressed Irina, but especially frustrated the girl's disbelief in her calling for her own father. Viktor Nikolaevich appealed to prudence, offered to look in the mirror and do something more practical or, at worst, reliable. However, a dream is a dream. By her own admission, Apeksimova, the desire to achieve success in the acting field was in many ways an attempt to prove to his father the presence of her talent and will. Time showed that both were enough.

Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov

The third attempt was a success. Lucky and with fellow students, which became Evgeny Mironov, Vladimir Mashkov, as well as Valery Nikolayev, for which Irina Apeksimova even married. Success was the fact that the head of the educational process was Oleg Tabakov himself.

After graduation she entered the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov, which served until 2000. She was able to perform the roles of Maria Mniszek in Boris Godunov, Sophia in "Woe from Wit", Elena Alexandrovna in "Uncle Vanya", Baroness Strahl in the play "Masquerade" and many others.

Work in the cinema

Already the early films with Irina Apeksimova (since 1987) were interesting, the actress was lucky. Playing Ksyusha in the drama "The Tower" directed by Trigubovich, she immediately revealed herself and demonstrated the remarkable talent. In the "Dissident" Zheregi the success was reinforced. Then the serials: "Little things of life", "Birthday of Burzhuy". But there were real successes, such as "Mu-mu" (Irina Apeksimova played a foreigner, the Frenchwoman Justine), "Chekhov and Company" (wonderful screen versions of the stories of the great Russian writer), "Cage", "Male Revelations" Written by Renata Litvinova.

Very good multi-series films "Death of the Empire", "Northern Lights" and "Yesenin" allowed to reveal the original talent of the actress, the benefit of her characters corresponded to the already developed stereotype of a strong-willed and purposeful woman of adventurous type with some hint of bitchiness, backed by external appearance and quality makeup.

The desire to get out of the habit of all the image, to become someone else, except the screen female vamp, inspired the actress to do directing. The Ukrainian-Russian project "Sleeping and Beauty" was the first experience in this field.

Versatility of talent

Personal life of Irina Apeksimova was stalled in 2000. The actress divorced her husband, Valery Nikolayev, with whom she lived for five years. Joint work in "The birthday of the bourgeois" became impossible, and therefore the character whose role she played, the screenwriters "killed." That did not shake Irina's confidence in her giftedness, and it was during this period that her creative career took off.

The theatrical company "Bal-Ast", later renamed in honor of the owner, was another confirmation of the versatility of Apeksimova's personality. Roman Viktyuk expressed a desire to work together with this creative team, they put several entreprise, including "Our Decameron XXI" ( Edvard Radzinsky's play) and "Carmen".

Suddenly Irina Apeksimova also sang. The beginning of this was the transfer of the "Two Stars", and when it became clear that it was also coming out of her, it went. Particularly successful were the recording of courtyard songs, some of them the actress learned in Odessa. They sound fresh and cheerful, like young people, and older people are reminded of many things ....

Is Apeksimova married?

The fate of such an outstanding and multifaceted actress, of course, is of interest to the public. Many are curious to know what kind of people are Irina Apeksimova's husbands, how many of them there were, what is the current matrimonial status of the star. It's good or bad, but we still can not talk about spouses in the plural. The actress's family is her daughter Daria. Being a self-sufficient and strong person , Apeksimova does not hurry with the new marriages, although there is no doubt that the offers come from time to time. At present she is a "bachelor". How long? Time will tell. She herself does not want to talk about it.
