Insurance certificate of the pension fund

Insurance certificate of the pension fund should be owned by every citizen. This is stated in the legislative acts of our country. In particular, this applies to those who are registered in the TSO, that is, in the mandatory pension insurance system. In this system, the Pension Fund registers all residents of Russia. Children, as well as adolescents are no exception

The territorial body of the PFRF at the time of registration for each insured opens a personal account, which is individual, has a permanent insurance number. In addition, a special insurance certificate is issued on hand. It contains important information that will be needed when you are installing for a new job and not only.

Insurance certificate

In itself, it is a plastic card of green color. This document confirms that a person is insured under the mandatory pension insurance system. The insurance certificate itself must contain the following data:

- SNILS (number);

- Place of birth, as well as date;

- full name of the insured person;

- date of registration in the system;

- Floor.

SNILS is unique. It belongs to only one person. The individual account number of a citizen of our country is entered information about the work experience, accruals, insurance premiums, which were paid by the person. These are the insurance contributions to the PF paid by a citizen during his entire work activity. All of them in the future will be taken into account when assigning a pension, its recalculation. The assignment of the insurance number is purely technical. It is implemented in order to simplify the procedure for assigning pensions (labor) to insured persons.

The citizens present an insurance certificate in the device for a new job, at the conclusion of various kinds of contracts (for example, contracts for the provision of specific services or any contract of a civil-law nature). To present this document is necessary for the employer or the customer to be able to inform the FIU of all the necessary information. No one needs to give an insurance certificate. In some cases, it's enough just to provide his number. The document is kept by its owner.

If the employee does not have an insurance certificate, he will need to fill out a special questionnaire. Within two weeks from the moment when the employment contract was signed, the employer will transfer it to the FIU. Then the employee will be registered in the OPS system. The pension fund for three weeks will have to open a personal account, and also to make and issue the insurance certificate itself.

Further, the insurance certificate will be handed over to the employer, who necessarily hands it to the owner. The individual who pays the insurance premiums must independently apply to the FIU that is located in the place where it is registered as an insured.

Often it happens that the employee changes any personal data (for example, the surname after marriage). In this case, the policyholder will be reported to file all the necessary information with the FIU. For this, there is a special form of application. The deadline for submitting new data is two weeks. The FIU will reflect all changes and issue an insurance certificate. The required data will be changed, but the individual number will remain the same.

The statement of loss must be submitted to the insured within a month. On the basis of it will be issued a duplicate. Persons who are not working about the loss of the original must report to the FIU, which is located at their place of residence. A duplicate will be issued within a month.

As a rule, the registration of a pension insurance certificate does not cause any difficulties.
