Impeccable is what? The meaning and definition of a word

The word "impeccable" is familiar to many as a description of something ideal, impeccable. According to the explanatory dictionary, impeccable - it's not defaced, excellent, exemplary, not having anything to reproach. It can be applied to many nouns: impeccable reputation, impeccably made work, impeccable execution, impeccable behavior.

In what context can I use the word

Impeccable is a word that is often used in oral and written speech to describe something done perfectly and impeccably.

Such forms and phrases are most often used:

  • An impeccable reputation - an opinion about a person and attitude to him as an honest, sincere, always fulfilling his promise, punctual and compulsory;
  • Impeccable work is an ideally done business, according to all the requirements and standards, just in time, at the highest level of professionalism;
  • Flawless product - an object that does not have flaws, is serviceable and perfect in its purpose;
  • Impeccable behavior - meeting all the rules and established requirements according to that etiquette, which is applicable to specific conditions.

This quality of personality, like impeccability, is characterized by a tendency to perform any task according to the highest class, preserving the balance and harmony with oneself and the surrounding world.

Synonyms and word antonyms

Impeccable is the ideal, the best and the right one. Among the most common synonyms, the words can be called: impeccable, untainted, unblemished, professional, exemplary, correct, perfect, unspoiled, sinless, infallible, invulnerable, best, exemplary.

Antonyms words can be called: spoiled, worst, bad, sinful.

The use of such a number of boundary amplitude characteristics occurs in fiction. In everyday communication, such strong words are rarely used.

Perfectly - is it always good?

It is believed that the best and right is perfect. The meaning of the word justifies this opinion, but is it always good to be ideal? Impeccable is unbending and unyielding in its intention. However, this is not always the case in real life. Everyone has their own weaknesses, feelings and emotions, which are not always amenable to regulated rules.

In parallel with impeccability, which is dictated by perfectionism and the desire to be the best, there is also reasonable perfection, in which all available energy is consumed competently and harmoniously. This makes it possible to overcome the "excellent worker syndrome" and enjoy the results that are, no matter how far they are from the ideal.
