Often, skin irritation is complicated by activation of fungal microorganisms, which in this case requires the use of special antimycotic drugs. Sometimes patients are prescribed antihistamines, which eliminate itching and reduce redness.

At home, it is recommended to use powders that absorb excess moisture (for this purpose, you can use ordinary potato starch). It is useful to wipe affected skin areas with solutions of furacilin, potassium permanganate or methylene blue, as well as fucorcin, which are dried and simultaneously disinfect the skin. Positive on the patient's condition will affect the warm baths with the addition of extracts of medicinal plants. In particular, broths of a camomile and a turn (reduce an inflammation, remove an itch), and also an oak cortex and a sage are considered as useful.
