How to make a sticker at home: 5 ways

In a house where there are children, there is a lot of money spent. That kids need a new toy, a book, something else. In this article I want to talk about how to make a sticker at home, to at least a little, but save money and make the sticker exactly original.

Method 1

Simply, of course, it will simply buy a sticker in the store or order it in the printing house on its own layout. However, this is not so interesting. So, how to make a sticker at home? In this case, you need a color printer (laser or inkjet), as well as a self-adhesive film (it must match the printer). Now the selected drawing has to be printed, cut off the film and paste it onto the necessary surface - the machine, the laptop cover, etc.

Method 2

The next way how to make a sticker at home, will be somewhat similar to the previous one. You will also need a sticky film, however, the picture or photo is selected separately and simply pasted on top. In this case, it is not possible to cut out a beautifully cut item on the contour. The ends of the film will have to hold the pattern on the selected surface. However, this is also a good way to create a sticker with your own hands.

Method 3

The next way of how to make a sticker at home. To do this, you need to select a suitable pattern, print it out or cut it, and then glue it to the desired surface (necessarily pre-skimmed) with a conventional glue (PVA or silicate - depending on the surface to which the pattern is glued). The method is quite simple, but such stickers are short-lived, because they are not protected from moisture, they can quickly fade in the sun. By the same principle, it is possible to plant drawings not on glue, but on double-sided scotch, this is also a good option, but its disadvantages remain the same.

Method 4

A sticker can be prepared at home using conventional parchment paper. It is interesting that such a drawing will be glued to the clothes. To do this, you need to cut out the selected pattern from the package, attach it to your trousers or a football, cover it with parchment paper (you can use paper for baking any color) and iron it with a hot iron. If the picture is not stuck on the first time, the operation should be repeated. It is worth noting that it is better to stick to the drawings of a small size, because the iron on them with ease can walk through at a time.

Method 5

Now I want to talk about how to make a vinyl sticker, but this will require the help of the printing house. First you need to prepare a layout. To do this, select the picture you want to represent in vector form (you can do it yourself using the program "Korel"). If such skills are not available, the workers of the printing house will be happy to come to the rescue. Next, the picture is transferred to the film. This can also be done in the printing house, but you can try it yourself. To do this, you need to purchase a special film and apply a pattern on its surface from the back. It will not be too difficult to do this, because this material is divided into squares. Now stick the sticker to the desired surface. This is a rather difficult and time-consuming stage. Also for this you need to stock up the mounting film. The pattern is superimposed on a dry, clean and level surface, the adhesive is applied from above with a mounting film, and it is smoothed out with a squeegee. After that, the film is carefully removed. If any part is peeled off, it must be put in place and again properly ironed with a squeegee. Everything, the product is ready and already in place!
