How to insert a picture in Word and Photoshop

In order to insert something somewhere (if it's a text or graphic editor), you either need to "Open" this "something" by clicking on the standard icon for this command with an eloquently open daddy, or look for a button with an inscription, Hinting at the possibility of solving the problem.

Insert picture in Word

For example, if you are interested in inserting a picture into the Word, you need to go to the Insert tab and, by clicking on the thumbnail with the name "Picture", select the picture in your window on your disk and click the "Insert" (What question is that and the answer).

The drawing will appear in the place indicated by the cursor, but on the new line and in the new "Format" tab. Here you can (from left to right) adjust brightness and contrast, repaint, compress or even replace the picture, select the style of the border, change the geometry, define the borders, add effects and cut to the specified sizes, but the main thing is the group of functions in the "Arrange" section, Where indicate the position of the figure in the document and the nature of the flow around the text.

Note the small diagonal arrows in the lower right corner of the "Picture Styles" and "Size" sections. Clicking on them, we open the "Picture Format" and "Size" windows with the settings of the corresponding settings.

Insert a picture in the Paint drawing

With such a simple problem, as in the drawing to insert a picture, "old Paint" easily handles. After opening the image (the "Open" command), simply insert the following image by selecting "Paste" from the left upper corner or "Paste from" (or Ctrl + V) if the image was copied to the clipboard.

The superimposed image can be transformed by taking a mouse for any of the six markers and moving it with the left mouse button, but after clicking on the side (outside the image), the transformation becomes unavailable. This circumstance should be taken into account if it is supposed to add pictures.

Insert picture into picture in Word

The task of overlaying images is easy to implement in almost every graphics editor, but, perhaps, rarely anyone thinks about how to insert a picture in the text editor "Word", and it turns out you can (if necessary). To do this, select the background image, and in the "Text Wrapping" drop-down list on the "Format" tab, select the "Behind Text" method that is used to add an inscription to the picture.

Then click next to the picture to the left of it and a space (or Tab key) "pound" the cursor inside the image. Now it is not difficult to guess how to insert a picture in the drawing. Just follow the familiar route: "Insert"> "Picture"> "Paste" - and the picture in the picture here like here. The superimposed drawing can be transformed and twisted, holding a green marker, and moving inside, playing on the Tab, space and Enter keys, but this is not entirely convenient. But if you open the "Position" window in the "Arrange" section and choose any option "With text flowing around", the picture can be dragged by mouse.

Insert a picture in Photoshop

After Word, such an operation, like inserting a picture in "Photoshop", will seem like a child's play. If the editor is running (in the sense open), click "Open" in the "File" menu (Open Ctrl + O), select the image and repeat "Open".

The window for selecting files opens and double-clicking on the empty field of the workspace (when no documents are open).

At the command "Place" in the "File" menu, the picture will go directly to the active window on a new layer, where you can immediately "accept" it by clicking on the checkmark in the toolbar at the top, or pre-transform.

If documents are opened in two or more windows, images from one to another can simply be dragged by mouse. The image will open in Photoshop if you select it from the list of programs using the command "Open with" in the right-click menu of the file.

The image copied to the clipboard (right button> "Copy" or Ctrl + V) opens in Photoshop if you click "Create" in the "File" menu, and then go to "Edit" and click "Paste".

If in Word editor such a harmless task, as you insert a picture into the drawing, pours into the whole procedure, then in Photoshop this is solved by one command "Place" (Place), which was already mentioned above.

You can load the image and re-open the command, and then drag the image from the window to the window.

It is convenient to load images from the Adobe Bridge add-in into the program by calling it "Browse in Mini Bridge" in the "File" menu, or "Extensions" in the "Window" menu. Here you can quickly scroll through the folders with pictures and, selecting, simply drag it to the "Photoshop" window, or choose the familiar "Place"> "In Photoshop" command with the right mouse button.
