How to disable Nod32 for a while?

It is difficult to imagine a modern computer without an antivirus program. The abundance of viruses penetrating the user's computer literally from anywhere, practically does not leave the system a chance of normal functioning. The growth in the number of malicious applications automatically motivates developers of tools to combat them. Every day, antivirus programs become more reliable, offering a whole set of tools for tracking important zones in the system, preventing the penetration of malicious elements. One such popular product is Nod32 Internet Security.

But sometimes a high level of protection, accompanied by blocking of suspicious connections and programs, prevents the user. In such cases it is necessary to temporarily suspend the protection, but how to do this? As a rule, most antivirus programs use the standard approach to this procedure, allowing you to pause through the context menu, which is caused by right-clicking on the antivirus icon in the tray. However, the antivirus Nod32 does not stop working completely at such a stop, due to which some programs fail, for example, to change the areas of the system registry. However, this option helps in most cases, allowing you to activate the "crack", adding keys to the registry, etc.

Proceeding from this, it is necessary to familiarize with the basic ways of how to disconnect Nod32, resorting to the most complex of them only in really important cases. As mentioned above, the easiest method is through the context menu, where there is a section "Disable protection ...". In some versions, to access this option, you must enable the extended interface display. With this approach to stopping the antivirus, the antivirus continues to run in the background without completing its process.

A more complex method allows you to completely stop the protection, leaving the system vulnerable, since disabling Nod32 with this approach is like removing it. This procedure is carried out this way. First, open the "Start" menu, in which you must activate the command line by clicking "Run". They register "msconfig", which will cause a list of startup programs where you need to deactivate Nod 32. Then go to "Control Panel", the "Administration" section. Here you can access the description and management of all computer services. Next, find "ESET Service" and click the manual startup installation for this service. After that, you can close it by clicking on "Stop". Reboot the system will show that the Nod 32 has completely stopped working. It's easy to check through the "Task Manager".

There is also a fairly common situation when a successful installation of the application is made, and after starting the antivirus services, it evaluates some actions from the side of the new program, as the actions of viruses belonging to the Troyan category. In such cases, it is not enough to know how to disable Nod32. To prevent problems with the operation of such programs, go to the "Advanced Settings" menu, where there is an "Exceptions" section. Then activate the option "Add", after which it remains only to specify the path to the executable file that runs the selected application.

The user needs to remember that if the system is left without an antivirus, the computer is exposed to a high risk of infection. Therefore, before disabling Nod32, you need to make sure that the installed program or game is really worth it and will not have a harmful effect on Windows.
