This method of reproduction is suitable for climbing roses, floribunda, miniature varieties, hybrid-polyanthus. Harvesting of planting material is carried out in autumn from annual half-aged or green shoots. In this case, you should choose those of them that are located on the side and not strongly developed. The rules of how to grow roses from cuttings are fairly simple. Unsuitable for this purpose are considered grassy young and fatty shoots. It is necessary to choose annual stems, which have already completed growth, their thickness can be from four to five millimeters. Better their rooting will contribute to the large content of carbohydrates in them. Selected shoots should be with buds. On the stem select a gap with two or one interstice, respectively, with two or three leaves.

The lower cut must be made at an angle of forty-five degrees under the lower kidney, and the top should be straight, above the kidney by five millimeters. To reduce evaporation, it is recommended to completely cut off the bottom sheet. Before growing roses from cuttings, they must be processed. Growth stimulants are used. They are able not only to accelerate the rooting of the plant, but also to increase its roots. For this purpose, an aqueous solution of the preparation "Heteroauxin" (200 ml) is suitable. The lower end of the lignified cut should be immersed in it for two-thirds and left for 2 days. The planting material obtained from the green stems of the plant is lowered into a weaker solution of the same preparation (forty-forty-five milligrams per liter of water) and held there for 12-15 hours.

After the "bath" from the rooting agent cuttings are recommended to place in wet moss or peat. Planting material can be stored at home, in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. The seedlings should almost completely be buried in the ground and be in an inclined position. Then they should be watered and sprinkled several times a day.
