How to draw a forest. We teach children to take care of nature

All children love to draw. They are pleased to take in the hands of paint, pencils or markers and try to depict the world as they see it. However, not only as a children's hobby can be used art. Through it you can bring to the kid this or that rule of life. In this article we will look at how to draw a forest and at the same time tell the children how important to us is nature and its resources.

It is not necessary to remember all the species of trees before drawing a forest. Remember that in this figure, their number is important, not diversity. The more trees there are, the more saturated the picture. In addition, you can immediately explain to the baby that, for example, poplar and oak can not grow next to each other. In order for the child to have a peculiar "sporting" interest, draw with it. It is best to start the painting directly with a simple pencil, because it will be easier to remove the eraser if any part you do not like. You can prepare colored pens, but first explain to the child that, for example, the trunk of a tree can not be red or blue. Decide on the time of the year. It is advisable to use autumn in order to protect nature.

Now consider how to draw a forest in stages. To begin with, you should depict the large objects of our drawing. These can be those trunks that are closest to us, stumps and paths. Since we stopped for the autumn season, the lush crown is excluded. However, the foliage remaining on the branches should be drawn. But most of it should cover the ground. The background is also set by the trees. The further they are from us, the less they become visually. Do not dictate to the child how to paint something or how to draw. The forest in his picture must correspond to his ideas. Let it be somewhat ugly or inaccurately shaded. At the end of the work, you can add some animal that hid in the bushes or behind the tree trunk. It can be a fox or, for example, a squirrel near a hollow. By the way, this stage is also very useful, because here you can tell the child which animals can live in the forest.

Our plans did not include studying instructions on how to draw a forest, because we planned to teach children to protect nature. After the picture is finished, tell the child how quickly the dry leaves flash, and also the dried branches. You can collect them in advance and visually demonstrate this, of course, in a safe place. In your drawing you can draw a fire, and explain that in the forest there is no one who could put it out. Show that even a small spark can inflame to such a scale that it will be difficult to correct, that is, put out afterwards. Such an illustrative example, along with the explanations will necessarily remain in the memory of the baby.

Do not explain to the child how to draw a forest with a pencil, unless, of course, he himself showed no interest in it. It is not our intention to teach him his fine arts. If he wants to immediately assign color to his painting with paints or felt-tip pens, do not interfere. We tried to explain to him how important natural resources are for us, and we did it.
