How to connect files to one file?

Even modern data transmission systems have their limits. The ability to transfer various data and files is very limited. Therefore, when there is a need to send data to someone, we try to do it in small parts. There are a variety of options for how you can share files of a variety of formats. Today we will talk about this. So how do you join files into one file?

Archives

The first and most understandable way to split data into parts is to create multi-volume archives. You can download and install the WinRar program on your PC. It supports all known compression formats, and also has a built-in tool that will allow you to split the desired file into small parts.

For example, you need to send a film on the internal work mail. Maybe for business purposes, and maybe not. Never mind. Only here is the problem - its size is about 8 GB, and the service mail supports files up to 1 GB. What do we do? We add our video to the archive, making it multivolume. Thus, it will break into many small files that we can transfer.

Now the host needs to merge the files into one file. To do this, all the downloaded small archives you should put in one folder and begin unpacking absolutely any of them. As a result, the files will be merged into one file.

Text and picture

This problem is much simpler. If you need to connect files to one file, and they are textual, you need any editor - Notepad, WordPad, Microsoft Word. In order to do this, you need to open both files in different windows, and then do the following.

  1. In the first document, place the cursor anywhere on the text.
  2. Press the key combination "Ctrl + A". You will see how the entire text will be highlighted.
  3. Click "Ctrl + C". This action will copy the information.
  4. Now go to the second window and put the pointer at the end of the file.
  5. Press "Ctrl + V". The copied text will be inserted.
  6. Now click "Save as ..." and create a new file, which will be the union of the previous two.

With image files, everything is a bit more complicated. The higher the picture quality, the more complex programs should be used to combine images. Of course, if you do not care about the quality of the result, then you can simply trivialize Paint. It will look something like this.

  1. To connect the files into one file, open the first one in the editor.
  2. By default, it will be immediately highlighted. Copy it with the same combination as the text in the example above.
  3. Open the second file. Stretch the workspace. You will see how the white field appears. Increase it until you have prepared enough space to paste the copied drawing.
  4. We paste the picture. It will overlay the existing one. Do not touch anything. Just move the mouse cursor over it and press the left button. Drag the picture to the white area.

This is how the simplest merging of graphic files into one takes place.

PDF

As you probably know, in PDF files, information appears more in pictures than in texts. You can not select it with the cursor or otherwise, and since many documents are saved in this format, joining PDF files into one is a vital process for many. Let's try to make out this particular case of unification. There are two ways how you can perform this operation.

  1. Online. Yes, there are services that allow you to merge PDF files. You simply upload documents online, and then download the result. Unfortunately, this method is not always effective, since the files of this format are of a fairly large size, and if at least one of them is about 50 pages, the process can drag on.
  2. Offline. You only need to download and install the full version of Adobe Acrobat. And follow the following instructions:
  • First click on the "New" button on the main panel;
  • Then "Combine PDF into one file";
  • Add the necessary files from the computer and sort them;
  • Click "Combine";
  • Everything, you can save the finished file to your PC.

Creating viruses

Well, or not really viruses. The fact is that there are applications that allow you to "glue" files of different formats. For example, you can write a program and save it in the format ". Ehe", and then paste it to a graphic file. Then the person who opened the picture will automatically launch and execute your utility. In fact, most antiviruses have seen such glitches for a long time and neutralize them. So you can do as much as possible, so it's a joke and a lesson to your acquaintance, who according to your information 100% does not use any protection. For example, to connect files to one file, you can use the HJ-Split application.
