How does the MySQL installation work?

In times of active Internet distribution, the installation of Apache, PHP, MySQL has become quite popular. Many website owners themselves comprehend these skills. For this reason, I decided to write about how MySQL is installed.

So, run the installation file and click on the continue button. In the opened Wizard, select the default installation and click "Next". After that you will see the path of saving the files. If it works, continue and run the installation. When the process is complete, click on the "Next" button in the next two windows, then check the "Server settings at the moment" and click the "Finish" button.

Next, installing MySQL involves configuring the configuration. Again, the continuation button, after which you select the detailed configuration mode and click "Next". You will see a window in which you need to set the performance. Of all the options, you have to choose the developer's machine. This will save a lot of memory. In the next window you need to determine the preferred type of tables. You are interested in the first option.

The MySQL installation continues, and then we need to specify the location where the file containing the information relating to the previous settings will be located. I recommend that you leave the path offered by the Setup Wizard and move on to the next point. After that, you will be asked to choose for yourself the maximum number of clients that will be allowed to connect to the server at the same time. You have the opportunity to choose from 20 to infinity. But we are still setting the number 20.

Proceed to the next step. We need to specify the port number. Connection with the client server will be implemented with his help. The wizard will display the default value, which will be 3306. It's unlikely that you previously installed any other databases, so we leave this indicator unchanged. Confirm and proceed to specify the encoding to be used by default. You need to select the third item, which means manual encoding, and then set c1251 in the drop-down box. This means that the Russian Windows Encoding will be used.

In the next window, MySQL is installed as a service that allows the server to start at the time of system startup, as well as the proper shutdown after shutting down the computer. Check the box next to the automatic work settings and tick the option to enable the path to the system directory. Press "Next" again. In a new window, you need to configure the required accounts. First I recommend ticking off. This will enable you to log in without having to enter a password.

The next task will be to create the required configuration file. We click the manipulator on the execution button and wait for the creation of this file to complete. When the process is complete, click the "Finish" button. That's all. It should be noted that MySQL can be installed for many popular operating systems. Ubuntu you or Windus, it does not matter.
