Effective means of filtration in different spheres are usually complex, from a technical point of view, devices. The design of such devices is good not only for the cleaning principle, but also for the possibility of supplementing filtering with auxiliary functions. Although membranes in themselves provide a significant water treatment efficiency, some manufacturers supplement them with ultraviolet sterilization. This device by and large duplicates the work of the main membrane, but in case of damage it can completely fill the cleaning tasks. In addition, reverse osmosis filters for water can be supplied with built-in ionizers, which provide the composition with useful substances. In equipping these devices are dividing channels with flasks, separating the supply of purified water to ionized and conventional. As the producers note, the enriched liquid can be used not only for domestic needs, but also for medical purposes.

Advantages of reverse-osmosis filters

The main advantage of such systems is the efficiency of the main task - filtration. Further it is worth noting the convenience in the content of filters. They are distinguished by high ergonomics, which is facilitated by both small dimensions of the device and a simple design. In addition, reverse osmosis water purification filters allow different compositions to be obtained. This is demineralized, and distilled, as well as ionized liquid, which can be used for different purposes.

Disadvantages of filters

First of all, this is a high price and the lack of a whole range of useful minerals in the composition of the water. As for the cost, the machines can not be called very expensive, but, in comparison with the usual pitcher models, they stand out in the direction of price increase. In terms of lack of nutrients, the situation is mixed. The matter is that reverse osmosis filters for water exclude calcium, fluorine, and also salts necessary for an organism from structure together with harmful admixtures. That is, the effectiveness of cleaning in this context is even harmful, so you have to fill the lack of trace elements at the expense of other products. There is also a shortage in the form of excessive water consumption. Usually, the filters retain an almost imperceptible volume of the filtered liquid, but the absorption system through reverse osmosis significantly increases this figure.

At the present stage of the development of filtration media, there are not so many truly effective systems that could provide multilateral cleanup. Especially if we are talking about household devices, which initially have less capacity than in industrial units. In this case, reverse osmosis water filters are an exception to the rule due to the high purification indexes. It is noted not only high-quality filtration from the main harmful substances, but also the possibility of enriching the composition at the expense of ionizers. True, the wide distribution of such filters is still hampered by their shortcomings. A considerable part of consumers are frightened by information that the received liquid is deprived of the basic useful microelements. However, while there is no unequivocal opinion of experts on how this nuance is dangerous to health.
