GU "Institute of Eye Diseases" (Ufa): vision correction, diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases

For already nine decades, the State Institution "Institute of Eye Diseases" (Ufa, the city in which it is located) conducts scientific research, develops and manufactures medical products and intraocular lenses, and provides diagnostic and therapeutic eye care.

History of the Institute

Ufa Research Institute was founded in 1926 on the basis of a small regional hospital for research, which was associated with a mass trachoma disease in the territory of Bashkortostan.
