Grundig ("Grundik") - TV: manual, description, reviews

"Grundik" is a TV that is known to everyone as a technique manufactured in Germany. However, for a long time this brand has nothing to do with this country. The article will describe in detail the history of the company, as well as a model range, which includes quality and inexpensive copies.

History

The company appeared in the year of the end of the Second World War - in 1945. It was then that Max Grüding, who worked for a long time in a company selling radios, retired and decided to start his own production. Development began with the creation of small devices, analogues of which were already on the market. His radio receivers enjoyed unprecedented success. By 1950, a small company Max began to build up its potential. The production of television sets began. The assortment has considerably expanded. In 1960, the technology was already assembled outside of Germany - in Belfast. Then there was a feeling that this company will always be the leader in the market, however, due to strong competition, all management plans have changed.

For a long time, the company "Philips" bought shares of "Grundika", and in 1993 the brand was completely taken over by a larger competitor. But the economic crisis did its job - the company was again resold.

Already in the beginning of 2000 the brand became "independent". Unfortunately, by this time the company had accumulated huge debts, and it had to officially declare itself bankrupt. Now TVs "Grundik", customer reviews about which at a high level, are produced by a Turkish company. It is almost impossible to determine where the assembly is performed. Representatives of the company Beko do not speak the exact addresses, but only the phrase that the devices are made at one of the factories owned by them. However, it is impossible to know where they are manufactured: in Germany, Portugal, Turkey or China. Most often on the technique is written "Made in Europe".

Series of produced TVs

Speaking about the model range, it must be said that Grundik is a TV known for its quality. Instances, as a rule, have liquid crystal screens. Among the series should be noted the presence of plasma TVs. But they are not very popular on the domestic market and you can buy them either under the order in the home appliances store or on Internet resources.

In Russia the most famous are the following series of "Grundik":

  • TV Vision. It is an LCD-technique. In this series also included models with LED-backlight. In stores under this name you can find copies with DVD-players. The cost depends on the screen size, the availability of additional accessories. On average, it ranges from 10 thousand to 63 thousand rubles. The optimal price-quality ratio is present in all models of Grundik.
  • TV Fine Arts. This series includes models that can connect to the Internet and broadcast video. The price is from 35 thousand to 65 thousand rubles.
  • TV GLX. Series models have a small number of functions. As a rule, they are most often installed in the kitchen. The buyer will have to pay for such a TV no more than 13 thousand rubles.

Appearance

TV "Grundik" (reviews confirm this) has a traditional appearance. Looking at it, you should note flat panels made of plastic. Their width varies from 5 to 7 cm. The body is made in either black or silver color. Some models have a special stand. It is made of durable glass. Other devices are easily mounted on the wall. The stand can be either rounded or rectangular.

Screen and image quality

A wide range of models of the company "Grundik" is presented. The TV (the instruction contains useful information) differs from the copies of other trademarks in some nuances. All the features, functions and problems that arise (with the solution) are described in the special manual that comes with the kit. A separate paragraph takes information about the screen and the quality of the image.

It should be noted that each TV has a completely different display resolution. Models that are inexpensive are equipped with a screen at 1366x768 pixels. Models with a display of more than 32 inches have a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The indicator at this level allows you to watch video in the formats HDTV and Full HDTV.

Be sure to pay attention to the size of models: the minimum screen diagonal - 26 ", the maximum - 55". The biggest indicator is only TVs without tuners.

The picture quality is quite good. All shades are bright and saturated, users do not observe imbalance. This can be understood by reading customer reviews. Thanks to a small response rate (only 5 ms) and some special technologies, the image reproduction is at a good level.

Customers note that there is a problem with the GLX series. On the screen are trails for moving objects. In the same series there are other problems. For example, the viewing angles leave much to be desired. In fact, to get the most pleasure from watching TV, you need to be located directly in front of it. Otherwise, the image will sharply become worse.

Power consumption

TV "Grundik", the instruction on which application is applied, will never spend a lot of electricity. This is confirmed by the feedback that consumers leave about it. The company cares about that most models correspond to class A. All economical devices have a special green sticker.

3D Models

Absolutely all models included in the series Fine Arts, support viewing video in 3D. Moreover, they have the function of transcoding a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image. If there is a need to write the program in this format, then the extended list of options will allow this.

In order to watch video on TV in 3D format, you need to wear glasses with an active shutter. You can use the USB cable to charge them. Built-in battery is enough for viewing one or two movies. A set of models that have a screen size of 40 to 55 inches, includes several pairs of glasses. The image in them is high-quality and rich.
