In the culture of some peoples, these small areas of the forest were of great importance. So, for example, the ancient Celts and Druids-priests used the green grove as a place for rituals and festivities. The matter is that the Celts of churches and churches did not erect, but used natural elements of the landscape of nature to serve the cult. Places where the action took place were places of sanctuaries, and some trees were considered sacred and possessing special power.

Attention to such areas of the forest has been given both in Ancient Greece and in Jerusalem. And in Russia, the birch grove is one of the symbols of love for the Motherland and everything native, natural. It has long been used in literary works and folk tales widely enough, and is still one of the most important and used.
