Funeral allowance

Currently, the area of social services continues to develop actively. As proof of this, the law "On Burial and Funeral Affairs", which provides guarantees for the provision of financial assistance for funerals, and also examines how and to whom the funeral benefit is paid, can serve.

Of course, this topic is not pleasant, but after the death of a person it is necessary to take care of his relatives and relatives, the state in this case guarantees the right to receive material assistance.

In the case of burial at the expense of relatives or a representative of the deceased who undertook obligations for burial, they are paid a benefit in the amount that is equal to the cost of all services or a fivefold minimum monthly wage. If the deceased person is an invalid of the Second World War, this amount is equal to the twofold size of his disability pension.

The receipt of the burial allowance is issued on the basis of the death certificate provided to the appropriate authorities. Such a certificate can be issued either by the body where the deceased was (received a pension) or by the social protection body in the place of residence. Thus, the payment of material assistance is made at the expense of the Pension Fund, the Social Insurance Fund or other budget entities of the state in case of contacting them no later than six months from the date of the death of a relative. All expenses related to the payment of material assistance (benefit for the pensioner's burial), the Pension Fund reimburses the country's budget.

Payment of material assistance for the burial of servicemen and members of their families is carried out in the military commissariat.

Let's consider, on what basis are the given payments, that is what it is necessary for this to show documents.

1) For stillborn children - an extract of death, data from the mother's passport.

2) For a non-working (not a pensioner) - an extract of death, the original of the death certificate and its copy, a certificate of the composition of the family, data from the workbook, a copy of the passport that applied to the authorities.

3) Minors (parents do not work) - death certificate, original of death certificate and its copy, certificate of family composition, data from parents' work book.

4) People who do not have a specific place of residence - an extract of death, the original of the death certificate and its copy, an extract from the cemetery about the burial place.

In the event that the death certificate is lost, the funeral allowance can be paid only if there is a repeated discharge, that is, a duplicate. Material assistance for the burial of persons who do not have a definite place of residence is paid by the social protection body at the place of residence of those citizens who are engaged in funeral.

In case of burial by the Ministry of Defense, the funeral allowance is not paid. Also, it is not paid to those who received a guaranteed list of disposal services.

The state guarantees its citizens assistance and support regarding all issues of burial of their relatives and relatives. This assistance can be expressed both in the payment of a funeral allowance, and in the form of certain services, which provide for:

- registration of all necessary documentation for burial;

- the delivery of the coffin and other items that are required for the burial of a person;

- transportation of the remains of the deceased to the cemetery or crematorium;

- The process of burial or cremation.

Thus, the state pays a funeral allowance to the relatives and spouses of the deceased, who applied to the relevant authorities within the time limit established by law. And already for today the funeral business is increasingly approaching the industry of urban economy.
