Frozen vegetables - how to cook? A few simple recipes

In winter, especially lack of vitamins, fiber, minerals. Of course, pharmacies sell complex supplements, which, in theory, must satisfy the needs of the body. But here, perhaps, instinct works: the desire to benefit from natural products outweighs the opportunity to benefit from "chemistry." Although, in fact, the word can be written without quotes, because vitamins, sold in pharmacy boxes and jars - a real chemistry, carefully selected and called to serve us for good. And yet, dear readers, let these jars and boxes remain only occasionally used additives, and we will give preference to natural nutrition.

In winter it is usually fruit (fresh, canned, frozen), vegetables. How to prepare meals from them - read below. For your convenience, each recipe will be titled separately. Will only choose. The offered recipes can easily be used even by those who have just started to master cooking: it is available, tasty and, of course, quickly.

Recipe 1. Casserole

So, frozen vegetables. How to cook casserole? 500 grams of frozen vegetables (assorted) will require 3 eggs, 170 grams (roughly) hard cheese, breadcrumbs, a little oil (any, at your choice) and salt.

Preparation. Vegetables are thawed, spread on a towel (or napkin) to make the glasses superfluous. Meanwhile, beat the eggs and add two thirds of grated cheese and salt to the grater and beat again. Lubricate the form for the casserole, sprinkle it from inside with breadcrumbs, lay out the dried vegetables and pour a mixture of eggs and cheese. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Bake for no more than 20 minutes at standard temperature (200 ° C).

Recipe 2. Vegetable ragout

Take frozen vegetables. How to cook a vegetable stew? This, in general, is the simplest dish, available in cooking even to a schoolboy. Fry the frozen vegetables (do not defrost) in butter on low heat until cooked. Solim, sprinkle with herbs (if any). Before serving, you can pour sour cream. The number of vegetables and butter is at your discretion. Vegetables can be fried in vegetable oil, but it is the cream that will give the dish a more delicate taste.

Recipe 3. Vegetable soup

By the way, you can arrange a vegetable day. Let's say you still have frozen vegetables. How to cook soup? It will take: ham (120 grams), potatoes (3 medium), greens (any), onion (small), carrots (one, small), butter (preferably creamy), a pinch of white pepper (ground), tuna Bank), a small package of crab meat.

Dice the peeled potatoes, pour it into boiling water (about a liter of water). While the potatoes are brewed, fry the vegetables in this order: firstly grated carrots on a large grater, then - defrosted vegetables (add to carrots and continue frying for about 5 minutes). It is important that the onions and carrots do not become brown, but only browned (lightly) until the oil in the frying pan becomes golden. Immediately after this add the remaining vegetables. Fry the vegetables, put them in a saucepan and dip the whole bulb (it is only needed for flavor, it is taken out before serving the dish). We cut crab meat, ham and tuna, add to the soup being prepared (two minutes before being removed from the fire). Solim, pepper. Greens (sliced) are added directly to plates with hot soup. The preparation takes about 30 minutes in total.

Recipe 4. Roll with vegetables

And another option for those who have frozen vegetables in their fridge. How to cook a meatloaf from them? This is another simple dish. Vegetables here will play the role of minced meat. Ingredients: vegetables (either assorted or beans separately, 200 g), pork (unfrozen flesh, 500 g), champignons (sliced, 150 g), hard cheese (70 g), two pieces of butter, salt.

We cook like that. The meat is discarded until a thin, but not translucent "cake" is produced (no more than 1 cm in thickness). We spread on it fried mushrooms with vegetables (for roasting we took a piece of butter), finely chopped cheese, finely chopped butter, chopped greens, distribute the filling throughout the piece of meat evenly and salt. Lovers of sharp little can pepper a little. Now we weld meat with stuffing into a roll and sew up the edges and sides (butter and cheese should not flow out).

Roll is prepared in an oven wrapped in foil, at 200 ° C, about an hour. It is cut after cooling. The threads are removed.

Recipe 5. Ribs with green beans

How to cook frozen beans? The easiest way is to just fry it using butter and then put it out, adding a little cream and salt (stewed on low heat, until the cream evaporates, well, salt - to taste). This dish itself is quite tasty and nutritious, but still pretends to be a garnish. For example, to meat, or rather - to pork ribs.

Ribs are prepared, of course, separately. First, soaked in such a peculiar marinade: mayonnaise in half with mustard (approximately a glass, mustard can be less if you do not like spicy), salt, onions rings. Nothing more is needed. Ribs are kept in such a mixture for at least four hours, then they are cooked in an oven wrapped in foil (before wrapping, add a piece of oil for a more delicate taste), at 200 ° C, for about an hour.
