When in early August 1953 in the American town of Augusta a small blond little boy was born, no one could have foreseen that he would become the world famous Khalkom Hogan. Although already at birth he managed to surprise the staff of the clinic very much, having appeared in the world with a weight of 10 pounds, considerably bypassing all the babies in the hospital.

School and university years

At school, little Terry Bolea was the tallest boy in school, then became the tallest student in college. While studying in college, he seriously took a great interest in basketball, many predicted a great career in this sport, but, having sharply changed the direction of his interests, he went to study at the Florida University, where he studied business and economic sciences. After his education, Terry joined the local bank branch. There he was engaged in administration. Hulk Hogan, whose filmography in the future will eclipse many famous actors, is not very perceived by us as a bank employee, and office tables were obviously too small for him.

Hobbies of young Terry

In the evenings a young specialist liked to sit in a company of friends, touching guitar strings. Playing the guitar interested the young man at the university, he even played in an amateur group. Having received pleasure from music, the future star was directed for one more work. The fact is that in order to secure himself, he had to work as a security guard at a local eatery.

Strangely enough, it was this work that was the first step of Terry Bolea to world fame. Since Terry regularly visited the gym, his impressive muscles in conjunction with a two-meter growth could not help attracting the attention of Jack Brisko. On the advice of the latter, Terry turned to the school of the then famous coach Hiro Matsuda.

Looking at Terry, Matsuda immediately promised to make him a real wrestling star. The promise was quickly implemented, so Terry became the Super Destroyer. The career developed, the Destroyer was a success, but everything ended unexpectedly during the next training session, when the mentor broke Terry's knee. At that time no one could guess that the Hulk Hogan, whose filmography will consist of several dozen films, could become not only a wrestling star, but also a world-class movie star.

Return to big sport

Unable to play sports, Terry again returned to music, becoming the organizer of The Ruckus. However, a couple of years later, following the advice of his namesake Terry Funk, Super Destroyer returns to wrestling. As further events showed, it is not at all in vain. In the summer of 1978, it was thanks to him that the Southeastern Championship Wrestling team, for which he performed, was defeated by the local legendary club. It was then that he got the nickname The Wrestling Hulk. In September, Terry organized a meeting with another wrestling legend - André Gigant, where the latter suffered a complete defeat. These were Terry's first steps to world fame. The future Hulk Hogan, whose photo first appeared in the press, went to her with leaps and bounds. After this fight, Terry's sports career began to develop rapidly, and already in early 1979 he received the title of heavyweight champion SCW. Then followed a whole series of victories and defeats, succeeding each other. At this time, once again changed the pseudonym of Terry. He first became an Irishman Hogan, but rather quickly changed the pseudonym to the Haunted Hulk. Such a rapid change of name was directly related to the fact that Terry's hair was completely incapable of painting, and, therefore, to become red-headed, as the Irishman demanded, he did not succeed.

The first steps towards world cinematographic fame

Becoming famous in the arena, the Hulk received an unexpected offer from Sylvester Stallone himself. Hence the filmography of Hulk Hogan originates. The proposal concerned filming. It should be noted that the coach reacted very negatively to such a turn of events and even fired the Hulk. After that, he does not hesitate to collect his bags and move to the legendary Hollywood.

The filmography of Hulk Hogan began precisely with the famous "Rocky". The first role was rather easily given to the actor, as he played himself - a wrestler who defeated Rocky Balboa. Then followed the shooting of the next two parts, which made Hulk Hogan a star.

A successful combination of sports and cinema

In parallel with the filming of the Hulk Hogan, whose biography is full of steep turns, returned to the sport. He even became the author of the famous strike, named in his honor Hulk'up.

Participation in the tournament IWGP (International Grand Prix Wrestling) brought him unthinkable popularity. The winner of the knockout, Hulk Hogan, whose photo was decorated with the covers of all magazines, became a world star simultaneously in the movies and wrestling.
