Evgeni Alekseevich Murov is a military, sportsman, an employee of the state special services, who from 2000 to 2016 headed the Federal Security Service. He has the highest military rank of army general, and also holds several medals and awards.

Little is known about Yevgeny Alekseevich's biography. He was born in November 1945 in the town of Zvenigorod near Moscow.
