However, the notion that "all toxins and slags accumulate in the abdomen, and the person dies of it," originates back in ancient Egypt, when embalming was the closest to the "inner world" of dead bodies. They saw the same thing that current pathologists see, namely, excrement, coupled with products of decomposition of intestinal contents.

Medicine of the Middle Ages also did not avoid ideas, how to withdraw slag. Moreover, with such unpleasant conditions as, for example, food poisoning, some cleaning methods still worked and work now. Why is that? But because it is impossible to purify the body of what really does not exist. Yes, it happens that harmful substances accumulate in the cells of our body. Especially this is typical for some very heavy metals, as well as individual poisons of organic origin: this is how chronic poisoning occurs. However, no washing of the intestines and fasting will help to remove such substances from the body. Special procedures are needed here. All other elements pass through the body very quickly, in just a few hours, and sometimes even minutes. Some of them are safely absorbed by internal organs, and some are excreted through the kidneys.

One of the most common ways to remove slags from the body is hydrocolonotherapy. This is a very deep washing of the entire intestine, which can lead to its injury and washout of the digestive system that helps the digestion of the natural microflora.

Likewise, it is not worth cleaning the liver with the ingestion of a large amount of vegetable oil, as this will not only not do her any good, but will also harm her and the pancreas.

The liver is able to cope with toxins entering the body, but only on condition of regular observance of a healthy lifestyle. In other words, it is simpler to simply not litter your body from the inside, than to clean it with all possible and impossible methods. In the first place, the general condition of internal organs is negatively affected by smoking (even passive), which even a child knows for certain. Many substances that are contained in tobacco smoke, are organic poisons, retained in the body forever. Secondly, you should stop using alcohol. The ethyl alcohol contained in it slowly poisons the body, destroying its natural filter, the liver and thereby preventing its normal functioning. Thirdly, the most reliable way to remove slags from the body (or what is meant by them) is drinking clean water, at least one and a half liters per day. This significantly reduces the risk of urolithiasis and promotes regular stools. Fourth, you should reduce the amount of fat in your diet, as its excess contributes to increasing cholesterol, and this is fraught with diseases of the cardiovascular system. Fifthly, the menu should contain dishes with a sufficient amount of fiber, which helps eliminate toxins and other harmful substances and bacteria from the body.
