Crochet: crochet, description and interesting models

Today knitting has become so popular that not only women, but also many men are well versed in products made by hand. Depending on their preferences, they order or buy ready-made sweaters, hats, pullovers, scarves and many other things.

Eccentricity versus classics

Along with the classic, simple wardrobe items, craftsmen are increasingly receiving orders for various non-standard products. For example, knitted crowns for babies, gloves in the form of hedgehogs, sweaters depicting deer, as well as adults and children's crocheted hooks. These accessories represent the stylized head of some real or fictitious animal.

A crocheted crochet hook can be equipped with eyes and a spout. Some models provide only an opening instead of a muzzle, so the person wearing the cap is transformed into the selected beast.

As prototypes, the masters choose the most diverse representatives of the animal world: foxes, wolves, dinosaurs, giraffes, cockerels, raccoons, sheep, as well as all sorts of cartoon or fictional monsters. Below are some interesting beetles and recommendations for the process of their manufacture.

What yarn to choose

To get a strong and warm crocheted animal, you should choose the right materials. First of all, the yarn should be high in wool: at least 50%. Otherwise, the crocheted animal will be beautiful, but non-functional. Do not use a completely acrylic thread, since synthetic products can be hot, but they will not give real heat.

If we are talking about knitting for children, then here it is necessary to pay close attention not only to the percentage of wool in the yarn, but also to the origin of the raw materials. Sheep wool can be stiff and prickly. Some manufacturers have learned to process the thread very well and achieve that it becomes quite soft. However, this is more an exception than the rule.

If you need a baby crochet hook, the best choice is merino wool. This yarn is recognized throughout the world as the most soft and high quality.

It's easier to go

The picture below shows a cap-cap, which even the greenest beginner can connect.

In fact, this crochet hook for boys, which is a rectangular canvas, sewn in a certain order. It should be noted that such an accessory is quite suitable for a costume for Heloween or a New Year's masquerade. In this case, you can use cotton instead of wool.

The rectangle is knitted in any direction: from the bottom up, from the occiput to the face or vice versa. The fabric is sewn as follows: behind and on the crown (unless there is a crease line). Like all the hoods, such a fur cap must be sewn from the chin and down to the bottom edge. This is done in order to protect the neck from wind and frost.

Decor for home dinosaur

Decorating a rectangular fur coat is not difficult: it is enough to untie several triangles and sew along the seam from the nape to the top. Difficulties can arise with the first element, since the size will have to be selected by an experienced way: knit, try and bandage. However, all the other triangles will be made according to the developed template.

To connect a triangular canvas, you need to cut in each second row one column at the beginning and end of the row.

Look pretty crocheted hooks, the description of which involves the use of materials such as real and artificial leather, suede, thick fabric (jeans, tarpaulin), fur. In the presence of suitable shreds, the dinosaur crest can be made of leather or suede. The main condition is sufficient material rigidity.

Universal muzzle

As a rule, most of the unique knitted hats are created by talented (and moderately eccentric) designers who are not in a hurry to give out schemes and make life easier for those who want to duplicate their creation.

To implement the model you like, you can master the basic skills of knitting and understand how to form the classic headgear. Next, the crocheted animal will be examined, the scheme of which is an improved semicircular cap.

For its manufacture, yarn of any thickness can be used. The scheme is calculated for the columns with the cusp (CCH). The main principle is that 12 CLS are knit in the first row, and in every following additions are also made at 12 points. If the master wants to get a more dense canvas, she should use the columns without the crochet (RLS). Here the algorithm of the work will be slightly different: the first row is 6 RLS, and the addition of new elements, respectively at six points.

Features of work

In order for the bottom of the cap to be formed correctly, you need to follow the description above. Places can be marked with plastic markers. When the diameter of the bottom is 1-2 cm already, what is required, you need to tie one row without adding. In the next row, perform the basic instruction (enter new elements at 6 or 12 points), then repeat the series without additions and the expanding series again. Now you can continue working without tying out new bars.

The specified sequence (alternating rows) is necessary for the cap to have a smooth outline. Otherwise, if after an intensive expansion to go to knitting an even cloth, an ugly abrupt transition can form.

If the usual patterns and patterns have already managed to get tired and bored, you can apply the pattern of "bushes". He will give the product a small effect of azhur.

That part of the cap that will cover the ears can be made more dense, using, for example, columns without a crochet.

Variants of decor

To make a normal hat become an animal's muzzle, use several techniques:

  • At the stage of material selection, preference is given to a buffed or simply very fluffy yarn of the corresponding color.
  • Necessarily knit "ears".
  • Do applications in the form of eyes and nose.
  • Complement the image with characteristic and recognizable features (mustaches, horns, teeth).

In this case, the listed elements can have a naturalistic or an exclusively decorative appearance. The photo below shows an interesting and unusual animal-mole in the form of a lamb.

For its manufacture, a technique was used, such as a "magnificent column". It is performed in much the same way as the "bush", while the columns have not only a common base, but also a vertex. After each row of lush columns, billets without a crochet are tied.

After the base of the fur-cap (half-round cap) is ready, knots are knitted, to which the ties will later be sewn. Then they begin to make decor. Here it is possible to limit oneself to sheep's ears, but especially diligent masters can add a muzzle.

How to tie the ears

Each decorative ear consists of two parts: external and internal. The first one will be a bit bigger and it should be knit from the main color yarn. The second, accordingly, is less and for it a material of contrasting color is necessary. Algorithm for manufacturing a large part:

  • Run a chain of 7 air loops (VP).
  • To contact each of them in the RLS.
  • In the 8th loop, perform 3 RLS.
  • On the reverse side of the chain also tie 7 RLS.
  • At the end of the detail, tie 3 RLS from one of the base loops.

Next, all the rows will be circular: in the beginning you should perform an air loop, and in the end - the connecting column.

In each loop of the base, two elements must be tied: either RLS or CLS. To form a narrow edge, you need to apply RLS, and when you move to manufacturing a wide side, you can not do without higher COS.

The size of the parts is adjusted by performing this or that number of rows. For example, a small ear can be connected from two, and a large one from three rows. If three levels of CAP are too many, the last row is performed by the RLS. The parts that are connected by threads of different thicknesses will have different sizes: a thin yarn will be suitable for making a small ear, and a thick one for a large one. In this case, the number of rows and loops in the elements will be the same.

Finished ears are combined as shown in the photo and sewed.

Then they fold, fix the crease and sew to the product.

Here, that should turn out as a result.

To make appliqués in the form of a sheep's muzzle, a thick fabric, buttons and threads will be required. The cut out elements can be sewn on the head or pasted with a gun.

At this stage, the knitting of the fur-cap is completed. The crocheting schemes suggested above can be implemented in detail or used as a basis for knitting experiments.

Monster Caps

Many mothers gladly dress their children in bright and fantastic headgears, which look like the heads of monsters. To create such caterpillars crocheted, charts and descriptions are not necessary. You can attach the cut or tied parts to almost any base. The easiest to make is a one-eyed monster. The eyes are attached either round or elongated and complemented by eyelashes, teeth, horns, hands, tail and other elements.
