Crafts from carrots: we are having fun with children

Parents and children like to create autumn carrot items. Why do many prefer this particular vegetable? Carrots are stored long enough and do not fade in a matter of days. It does not contain too much juice, so do not strive to jump out of your hands during cleaning and cutting. By the way, carrots are easy to cut, although it is quite firm. Crafts from carrots have a bright and juicy color, which can not but please the eye. So, what can be done from this cheerful and inexpensive root crop?

Carrot Pirate

To create an ominous pirate, take one large carrot, balloon, cardboard and colored paper, thick threads (you can take corn stigmas), paints, a clerical knife. A kitchen knife is better not to take for such fine work.

Carefully and accurately we clean the root crop, cutting off its lower part. Do not rush to throw it away, from this part you will cut the nose of the pirate. Choose a shape to your liking: circle, triangle, square. On the carrot, cut out the nasal cavity, insert a short toothpick into the nose and plant in the groove. Now take the nose and cut out a toothy mouth. Make a horizontal notch in the bottom of the pirate face. Then divide it into a large number of vertical short notches. Then cut one eye (in the groove you can insert a toy or decorative eye). There came a turn of hair and traditional pirate headdress. Trim a bright balloon and pull it onto the head of a pirate like a bandanna.

Under the ball, fix the hair of a pirate, made of thick filaments or stigmas of corn. From black paper, cut a round pirate bandage over your eyes. From a black paper we glue together a pirate cocked hat on which we paint a skull and bones with white paint. Color the pirate's mouth and insert a cardboard dagger into it. Carrot flowers

To create incredibly beautiful autumn flowers you will need carrots, a plate, scissors and a knife. Cut the vegetable from top to bottom about five times. Do not reach the very end of the carrot. Cut the vegetable as thin as possible, so that in the middle there is room for other petals. Repeat this procedure a couple of times. You should have 3-4 layers of petals. The core is simply cut crosswise. Children's crafts made of carrots can be very beautiful!

Giraffe from carrots

Take a large carrot and in its lower wide edge insert four matches (or toothpicks, shortened in advance). Cut the narrower upper part of the fruit (this will be the neck of the giraffe). We plant it with a match on the body. We carve the head out of the carrot, we put it on the neck. Eyes and ears are best dazzled from plasticine and gently prilepit to the head of your giraffe. Giraffe of carrots - an odd thing that will please any kid. From the ends of matches with heads make the beast a horn, now it has become even more realistic!

Carrot Hare

To create a cheesy vegetable hare, take the largest carrot. At its base, make a cut (to ensure that your carrot crafts were stable and did not fall to one side). On the opposite side, make a deep incision, cutting the orange root crop into two parts. So you give your bunny ears. The muzzle of a hare can be made from any material that comes under your arm, only your imagination rules here. You can use beads, peppercorns, sunflower seeds, olives and so on. Do not forget to make a rabbit hairdo from greens (for example, carrot tops, parsley or dill). A merry carrot is ready! And a foxy carrot can become an excellent girlfriend.

Gnome of carrots

Wash carrots and cut off its end. The pointed part you will need to make a hat, two more rings of carrots - for ladoshek. Cut three rings from the bottom of the fetus - these are the future legs and head. Remains the middle part, which will become the trunk of your dwarfs. Insert two toothpicks into the lower part of the trunk - these are the feet of the gnome. Toothpicks should be parallel to each other. To the free ends of the toothpicks we attach two previously cut circles - these are the shoes of merry gnomes. Now, in the same way we attach the toothpicks-hands to the carrots. From the carrot circles we cut out the palms and plant them on the loose ends of the hands. Crafts from carrots not only entertain children, but also develop motor skills. From a short toothpick, make a neck and attach to it a carved round orange head from an orange vegetable. From the sharp end of the carrot we make a dwarf cap. By the way, from colored paper you can also cut out a nice cap and put it on the carrot cover. From the same colored paper, cut out the waistcoat and put it on the dwarf. Draw him a funny face! The handicraft is ready.

Carrot little man

A flower, a hare, a fox, a lump, a giraffe from a carrot ... An odd thing can be even easier than you think. Try to make a carrot little man very quickly! Cut out the head, trunk, legs and palms of a person from carrots. We make our feet not from toothpicks, but from flat and round carrot blanks. All parts are attached to toothpicks or clay. Then you can make a hat from a beautiful and shiny foil. If you trust a kid with scissors or a knife - watch his work even more closely.
