Comets are cosmic bodies. What is their mystery?

Comets are small objects of irregular shape, which consist of a mixture of frozen gases and non-volatile components. In particular, they are clearly visible when they are at a distance close to the sun: then they become much brighter.

It should be noted that comets are very small, if we compare them with planets. Their average diameter varies from 750 m to 20 km. In recent years, astronomers have discovered comets that are much further away from us and possibly have a diameter of more than 300 kilometers, but these dimensions are considered small if compared with different planets. The comets must, of course, obey the laws of motion, just like other objects. There are, of course, certain differences. Around the sun there are many orbits.
