Combat readiness is ... Degrees of combat readiness: description and content

The events of recent years prove the correctness of the ancient Greek proverb: "If you want peace, prepare for war." In working out the worst scenarios, it is possible to check the combat readiness of troops, as well as to signal a potential enemy or an unfriendly neighbor. A similar result was achieved by the Russian Federation after a series of military exercises.

The concern of the United States of America and NATO is due to the fact that the combat readiness in Russia is not aimed at one of the worst scenarios, but rather: the Russian army is ready for war in any direction for the sake of peace in its country.

Definition

Combat readiness is the state of the Armed Forces, in which various army units and subunits are able to organize and in a short time to carry out training and engage in battle with the enemy. The task set by the military leadership is carried out by any means, even with the help of nuclear weapons. The troops in combat readiness (BG) having obtained the necessary armament, military equipment and other material means are ready at any time to repel the enemy attack and, following the order, to use weapons of mass destruction.

Plan for bringing to BG

In order for the army to be put on alert, the staff is developing a plan. The commander of the military unit is in charge of this work , and the result is approved by the senior commander.

The BG plan provides for:

  • Order and methods of alerting servicemen of the Armed Forces and officers for collection;
  • Their place of dislocation is indicated;
  • The actions of the duty and daily dress in the military unit;
  • The actions of the commandant's service in the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment.

Start

The combat readiness for each level begins with a signal that the duty officer receives on duty. Further, using the system "Cord" installed in each military unit, a telephone or a siren, duty units and the commander are notified to the duty parts. Having received the signal, the information is refined, and then with the help of a voice command: "Company, lifting! Anxiety, anxiety, anxiety! "- the duty units inform all the personnel about the beginning of the operation. After that, the command is given: "The fee is declared" - and the servicemen are sent to the units.

Those who live outside the military unit receive command of the collection from messengers. It is the duty of the driver-drivers to arrive in the park. There the duty officers give out the keys to the boxes with the cars. Drivers are required to prepare all necessary equipment before the arrival of the officers.

Loading of army property is made by personnel according to combat calculation. Having prepared all the necessary equipment, under the supervision of the elders to dispatch to the place of deployment, the personnel wait for the arrival of officers and ensigns, who are responsible for transporting the property of the military unit. Those who are not included in the combat calculation are sent to the collection point.

Degrees of alert

Depending on the situation, BG can be:

  • Constant.
  • Elevated.
  • In a state of military danger.
  • Complete.

For each degree, its activities are provided, in which servicemen take part. Clear understanding of their responsibilities and ability to quickly perform tasks demonstrates the ability of units and groups of forces to operate in an organized manner in critical situations for the country.

What is necessary for carrying out BG?

On alerting affects:

  • Combat and field training of units, officers and staffs;
  • Organization and maintenance of the army in accordance with the requirements of the military regulations;
  • The completeness of the army units and units with the necessary weapons and equipment.

The ideological education of personnel and the recognition of their duties is of great importance for achieving the necessary degree of combat readiness.

Standard BG

The constant combat readiness is the state of the Armed Forces, in which units and units are concentrated in a permanent location and are engaged in daily activities: strict order of the day, high discipline is maintained. Part is engaged in scheduled maintenance of equipment and training. The lessons are coordinated with the schedule. The troops are ready at any time to go to the highest degree of BG. For this purpose, 24-hour shifts are carried out by the allocated units and divisions. All activities take place in the planned mode. To store material and technical means (ammunition, fuels and lubricants), special warehouses are provided. Machines are prepared, which at any time, if necessary, can carry them out to the area of deployment of the unit or unit. In the combat readiness of this degree (standard), it is envisaged to create special reception points for loading and exporting servicemen and officers to the mobilization centers.

Increased BG

Increased combat readiness is the state of the Armed Forces, in which units and units are ready in a short period of time to act to repel military danger and carry out combat missions.

With increased combat readiness, the following measures are envisaged:

  • Abolition of holidays and redundancies;
  • Strengthening the outfit;
  • Implementation of round-the-clock duty;
  • Return to the location of part of the units;
  • Checking all available weapons and equipment;
  • Ammunition of military training equipment;
  • Check alarms and other warning systems ;
  • Preparation of archives for delivery;
  • Officers and ensigns are equipped with weapons and ammunition;
  • Officers are transferred to the barracks position.

After checking the BG of this degree, the readiness of the unit for possible regime changes is determined, the amount of material stocks, weapons and vehicles needed for this level are checked for the export of servicemen and officers to the mobilization sites. Increased combat readiness is used primarily for training purposes, since the operation in this mode of the country is expensive.

Third degree of readiness

In the military danger regime, combat readiness is the state of the Armed Forces, in which all equipment is withdrawn to the reserve area, and the army units and units raised by alarm are acting in a short time to carry out the tasks. The functions of the army in the third degree of combat readiness (whose official name is "military danger") are the same. BG starts with an alarm announcement.

For this degree of combat readiness is typical:

  • All the branches of the troops are withdrawn to the point of concentration. Each part or connection is located in two prepared areas at a distance of 30 km from a permanent deployment point. One of the districts is classified as secret and does not have engineering communications.
  • According to the wartime laws, the personnel is equipped with ammunition, grenades, gas masks, anti-chemical bags and individual first-aid kits. All necessary parts of any arms are received at the points of concentration. In the army of the Russian Federation, the tank troops after arrival at the place designated by the command are refueled and equipped with ammunition. All the other types of units receive all the necessary information.
  • The dismissal of persons who have expired.
  • The work on accepting new recruits is discontinuing.

In comparison with the two previous levels of combat readiness, this degree is characterized by great financial costs.

Full combat readiness

In the fourth degree of BH, army units and formations of the Armed Forces are in the state of the highest combat readiness. In this mode, measures are envisaged to move from a peaceful position to a military one. To complete the task set by the military leadership, complete mobilization of personnel and officers is carried out.

With full combat readiness, there are:

  • Round-the-clock duty.
  • Implementation of combat coordination. The given action consists that all parts and connections in which reduction of shots were made, again are completed.
  • Using encrypted coded or other classified communications, orders are given to servicemen and officers. Teams can also be served in writing with delivery by hand. If orders are given verbally, they must have subsequent written confirmation.

Bringing into combat readiness depends on the situation. BG can be carried out sequentially or bypassing intermediate degrees. Full readiness can be declared in the case of direct invasion. After the troops are put on high alert, the commanders of units and formations are reported to the higher authorities.

When is the fourth level of readiness still held?

Full combat readiness in the absence of a direct invasion is carried out in order to verify this or that district. Also announced this degree of BG may indicate the beginning of hostilities. The check of full combat readiness is carried out in very rare cases. This is due to the fact that the state spends a lot of money to finance this level. Announcement across the country of full combat readiness can be carried out with a view to a global audit of all units. In each country, according to the security rules, in the regime of the fourth level of the BH there can be only a few units: border, anti-missile, anti-aircraft and radio-technical. This is due to the fact that in the current conditions, a blow can be inflicted at any moment. These troops are constantly focused on the right positions. Like the usual army units, these units also are engaged in combat training, but in case of danger, the first ones start to act. Especially in order to react in time to aggression, the budget of many countries provides for the financing of individual army units. The rest in this regime, the state can not contain.

Conclusion

The effectiveness of checking the readiness of the Armed Forces to repel an attack is possible with secrecy. Traditionally, combat readiness in Russia is under the close attention of Western countries. According to European and American analysts, military exercises conducted by the Russian Federation always end with the appearance of Russian special forces.

The collapse of the Warsaw bloc and the advance of NATO forces to the east are viewed by Russia as a potential threat, which means they are the reason for the subsequent adequate military activity of the Russian Federation.
