Children's technoparks: a typical structure

A key role in the development of innovation is played by technopark structures. Children's techno parks are a place where students, students meet for the purpose of acquaintance with innovative objects and various technologies of development of the industry. By the principle of action, they are very close to the business incubator.

Techno-park structure

What is it? It:

  1. Center for Innovation and Technology.
  2. Training center.
  3. Consulting center.
  4. Information Center.
  5. Marketing center.
  6. Zone of industrial development.

Each of the elements of this structure is able to provide a certain set of services (specialized):

  • lawyer consulting;
  • search for information;
  • Retraining of specialists (advanced training);
  • Information on industrial processes and industries.

Such a device also has a children's technopark. The center is its key unit.

As an independent element, it also has an incubator.

Distinctive features

  1. All firms and organizations that make up the technopark are a single "set". These include universities, law firms, industrial enterprises, service departments, etc.).
  2. Technoparks have a limited area.
  3. Most often located in ecologically clean areas.
  4. Innovative activity is highly effective.
  5. Thanks to well-organized processes, they have a compact arrangement.

Children's Technopark "Quantorium"

This innovative and technological complex is a brand. It has a network of technoparks located in different cities. The main goal of "Quantorium" is the introduction of a new model of additional education for children. Teachers who work in this network, go through all stages of training. It is based on the streaming of shared information for the further exchange of knowledge and experience. Technopark methodology implies full immersion of the child in active processes on average for two years. The first six months, the creators suggest to instill in the child the features of engineering culture. Children will be introduced to the CNC machine, welding machines, milling machines. Simultaneously, children will learn the basics of working on a 3D printer, learn how to print and solder cards.

"Quantorium" offers development and training in two areas (innovative tracks):

  • Competitive (design, big-data). Like many children's technoparks, Quantorium includes robotics, applied programming, geoinformatics and information protection programs.
  • Research. Research and analysis of hypotheses, familiarization with the basic methods of research.

This includes: applied informatics and cosmonautics, microbiology, design of perspective vehicles.

All platforms are equipped with modern equipment. It corresponds to the level of equipment of many leading industrial enterprises. All this allows us to constantly be in an innovative production environment and study the most interesting aspects of it. The basic familiarization takes place in a game form that will allow children to more easily learn the information and not lose interest in it for a long time.

In the open days of the children's technopark, many people can get acquainted with its structure, basic directions and features of immersion in the proposed environment.

Foreign experience. USA

The leading place in the creation of technoparks belongs to the United States, where they have existed for several decades. The first innovation-technical center was created at Stanford University, in the late 40's - early 50's. Stanford Center, was a place of business. And scientific achievements of university scientists became the basis for it. To date, the US has more than 160 techno-park zones.

Thanks to a developed economy, countries such as the United States and Canada successfully support this direction, allowing it to be brought to a high level.

European model of the technopark

The beginning of the appearance can be attributed to the 70-ies of the last century. One of the earliest was a similar complex in Edinburgh and Cambridge.

European technology parks have a number of features:

  • The availability of buildings that can accommodate dozens of organizations;
  • Complex management system (constituent body);
  • Good financial support from the state.

In Europe there are a considerable number of similar structures, among them one can note a variety of children's technoparks.

Russian Experience

The first wave of development of Russian technoparks began in the early 90s. The first of the known was created in the city of Tomsk.

As interest in the development and promotion of innovative business structures grows, various organizations appear, including industrial, scientific and manufacturing enterprises and small firms. Recently, there is a growing need to create similar directions for children and to include them in such units.

Many cities today boast of the fact that they can develop children in conjunction with modern technologies and scientific achievements. Such places are especially popular in the capital. Therefore, if a children's technopark is needed today, a sufficient number of such structural subdivisions are represented in Moscow.

Main goals

  • Transformation of knowledge into technology.
  • Transformation of knowledge into a product of commercial use.
  • Redistribution of technology in industry.
  • Organization of high technology firms.
  • Preparation of literate entrepreneurs.

If we take into account the children's technoparks, for each of these points is significant. This will help to form a holistic type of thinking and a clear picture of the development of modern innovations in the field of industry and business.

conclusions

  1. The children's industrial park is first of all a zone of free development of various science-intensive industries, development and introduction of innovative products.
  2. Gives children an incentive to further develop entrepreneurship using scientific achievements.
  3. Disclosure of their own talents and skills with their further development.

In Russia at the moment, the network of business incubators and zones of integration of science and industry is not so developed. However, there is interest in this direction, as well as state support. After all, it is important to remember that the creation of children's technoparks allows integrating the younger generation into the research and industrial and technological environment. And most importantly, it will allow not only to create future qualified personnel, but also to raise the economy of the country as a whole. And the demand is increasing every day, so the urgency of the development of "technological incubators" is extremely high.
