Call of Duty: World at War - passing and secrets

CoD is one of the most famous series of computer shooters, which has been released since 2004. In 2013, she celebrated her upcoming anniversary with the tenth part of the game. It is worth mentioning that the first three parts were devoted exclusively to the theme of the Second World War, after which the fourth game in the popular series Call of Duty - Modern Warfare - transferred the players to the present and allowed them to participate in the tense military conflicts of the present time. It has become The birth of a new era of the series, devoted exclusively to modern military operations. The last game connected with the period of World War was Call of Duty: World at War, the passage of which will be described later.

Americans in Japan

The game combines at once two plots that develop in parallel, while the missions for two different characters follow small blocks of 2-3 pieces each. The first main character of the game is American private Miller, who was captured by the Japanese. In the first mission, the guy is rescued by a battalion of his own Marine Corps, after which a chain of events begins, extremely saturated with various actions. Call of Duty: World at War is literally rife with variety - you'll wade through the jungle, trying to hide from snipers, planted in trees, you have to break through to the land through the coast, dotted with mines and shelled by artillery. Having reached each of the control points, you will need to call an air strike to destroy another artillery post - this will give other soldiers the opportunity to move forward. But the most incredible thing is an air mission. First you will be given to fly the plane, and then they will shrink and place the arrow - you will need to shoot enemy aircraft, which is extremely difficult. But this is very fresh and original, especially for the game, which was released in 2008. As a result, the story dedicated to the average Miller ends with the storming of the castle of Schuri and the decisive victory of the Americans.

Direction - to Berlin

In parallel, another story develops, the protagonist of which is Private Petrenko from the USSR. This is what distinguishes Call of Duty: World at War - the passage is divided into two parts, each of which has its own protagonist. The Soviet part begins with the awakening of the protagonist, who lost consciousness during the battle. After recovering himself, he discovers that around him the Germans finish the wounded soldiers, so Petrenko does not make a sound until the Nazis leave. After that, he discovers another survivor, Sergeant of the Carved. And immediately begins one of the most interesting missions in the game - you need to wade through a sniper rifle and eventually shoot the German general. After that, various missions follow, among which there is even one where the hero will be given a ride on the tank, and in the end everything comes to the end of Call of Duty: World at War - the passage ends with the capture of the Berlin Reichstag. Private Petrenko hoists the Soviet flag on this building, everyone is happy and celebrates the victory, and on this joyful note the narrative ends.

Bonus Level

However, this is not the absolute end of the game Call of Duty: World at War - the passage of the main line of the story is over, but there is still a bonus level. Strangely enough, it includes the extermination of zombies. The level has no endings, that is, you just need to hold out as long as possible. The level is small, in the initial room there are two doors. It is recommended to open first the one that launches the zombies, shoot 5-6 first waves, then open the second one. There it will be possible to stock up with high-quality weapons, move to another room, take a favorable position - and shoot back to the last.
