Alfredo Pacino was born in New York in 1940, on April 25th. His parents, Rose and Salvatore Pacino, divorced when the child was only two years old. The kid stayed with his mother and grandmother. The family lived in a poor neighborhood near the Bronx. Little Alfredo was brought up strictly, especially for her grandmother, who did not allow the child to play with children until the age of seven and go out without her or his mother. But even then his talent as an actor was awakened: after going to the movies he played around for home scenes he liked, fantasized, invented his friends, in general, lived in his own, rather closed world. Creativity was quickly noticed in school, and the boy was entrusted not only to read the Bible during services, but also to play in the school theater.

Biography Al Pacino largely determined at the age of 14, when he happened to visit the theater on the production of Chekhov's Seagull in the South Bronx. He was so impressed by what he saw that he decided to transfer to the School of Performing Arts. Unfortunately, he did not succeed because of not the most brilliant academic performance, so at 17 he abandoned his studies and went to work. The postman, the courier, the other small jobs - Al Pacino, the actor is truly brilliant, could not drown in this swamp and not bury his talent. He takes acting lessons, and also tries to play in small theatrical productions. When he managed to accumulate a sufficient amount, he entered the acting studio of Charlie Lofton, performed in theaters, and after a while he made his way to Lee Strasberg's school (a well-known institution that educated actors in the spirit of the Stanislavsky system).

Further biography Al Pacino captures more and more: his performances in theaters were so successful that he was named the best actor of 67-68 years. And received from critics a special award "Obi". A little later, he managed to conquer the Broadway scene, while winning a fairly prestigious theatrical prize "Tony". Well, then there was a movie. The paintings "I, Natalie" and "Panic in Needle Park" were the debut, followed by a brilliant game in "The Godfather". Directed by Frank Coppola at first the producers scolded for such a strange choice of the actor, did not believe that Pacino is suitable for this role.
