2. Pets' corner. Try to attract sworn enemies to all your snails - birds, frogs and hedgehogs - in your garden. Do not worry, these animals will not harm your site, but rather, on the contrary, will be useful to you! For example, make bird houses and feed birds. If you have a pond in the garden, bring frogs there, and snails - as the wind blows away! Make a living area for hedgehogs: leave the natural corners of the field grasses somewhere along the edges of your garden, build up piles of cut branches of fruit trees (for example, behind a shed or a bath), and you will have a hedgehog with your family.
3. How to get rid of snails in the garden with the help of special equipment. Special polyethylene films are being sold, aimed at fighting mollusks-pests. Spread the night on such a film along the entire plot: on the path, under the fruit trees, under the bushes. In the morning, when you turn it over, you will see a whole cluster of snails. Collect them with a scoop in a bucket of water. After - cover it with a lid so that the shellfish does not come out. There they will perish.
4. Fetid smell. One of the effective ways how to deal with snails in the country is to plant the worst enemies of these shellfish - garlic, onions (as well as sage and parsley). We know that the favorite delicacy of snails is cabbage. Plant next to her as much garlic or onions as possible. 5. Sawdust. Sprinkle some sawdust (or wood ash) along the beds. Since the belly of the mollusks is slippery, then they will feel themselves, to put it mildly, uncomfortable on sharp wooden surfaces.
