  2. On the roots and bark of the seedlings, there should be no external damage and signs of decay.
  3. It is best to buy a tree in the climatic zone in which it will be grown. This is necessary in order to avoid unsuccessful acclimatization.
  4. Young seedlings settle down much better, the optimal age for planting an apple tree is 1 or 2 years.

Apple Tree Rock, acquired in an earthy coma, perfectly tolerates both spring and autumn planting. Saplings with an open root system planted exclusively in the spring.

In order for the fruits to be large and juicy, you need to choose the right place, which will meet all the requirements:

  2. Absence of drafts and threats of gusty winds.
  3. The soil should be light and well-flowing air and moisture, usually for such purposes use loamy or sandy loamy soil.

  5. To avoid rotting the root system, the Rock apple tree can not be planted in places with a high groundwater table.

Planting pits with a diameter of 70 and a depth of 60 centimeters are prepared 2-4 weeks before planting. The distance between individual trees must be at least 3 meters. The top fertile soil layer is mixed with the following fertilizers:

Care of the apple tree

Water the tree as it dries, in cloudy weather once a week, and in the droughty period daily. After each watering, the near-trunk circle is mulched with sawdust, humus, leaves or other improvised materials.

In the spring, complex mineral fertilizers are scattered around the tree, and in the fall digging or overgrazing manure is introduced under the digging. It is also worth noting that apple top dressing starts from 3 years after planting.

In the spring, all frozen and diseased branches cut off the tree. In autumn, remove diseased branches and shoots, growing inside the crown or strongly thickening it.

The first 4-5 years can not give the apple to tie fruit. To do this, all the flowers are torn off.

In the Central region the apple-tree Rock does not need additional shelter for the winter period.
