Antibiotics for pneumonia are the main treatment

Often, when we have symptoms such as coughing, chills, fever, we perceive it as a cold and start taking medications that suppress unpleasant symptoms. For example, a syrup from a cough, a tablet from the temperature and under the blanket ... A day passes, another, and the cough becomes only stronger, sputum appears. Breathing becomes heavier, dyspnea appears. The temperature keeps ... And by the way, such symptoms can be manifestations of more serious diseases, for example, pneumonia.

Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs of infectious nature. It can be primary (develop as an independent disease) and secondary (resulting from complications after a previous illness, for example, influenza). It can be caused by various pathogens - bacteria. Usually antibiotics are prescribed as a treatment for pneumonia, as they kill bacteria (or prevent their reproduction). Although you can not do self-medication, you can help your body to conquer the disease faster. We need to lie more, rest, sleep and drink more fluid. Although it is necessary to take the necessary and correct antibiotics for pneumonia, this is the main thing in the treatment, but also an additional concern for it. Do not neglect your health!

Nowadays, there are a huge number of antibiotics for pneumonia (and other drugs that are considered auxiliary). Inflammation of the lungs can not be treated independently, because this is a very dangerous disease, which often ends in a fatal outcome. Why take chances? It is very important to prescribe the correct antibiotics for pneumonia (in adults and children).

The main symptoms include: cough (mostly with phlegm), severe rapid breathing and palpitation, chest pain (with coughing or deep breathing), fever, weakness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. And, if in adults the symptoms can appear in smaller amounts, then in elderly patients, in children, in people with other diseases (with weak immunity), the symptomatology is much stronger!

Inflammation of the lungs is very easy to "pick up" on the street, in the store, at work. Or it starts to develop when bacteria with air get into the weakened lungs of a person, for example, after a flu or cold. Children under the age of two years, adults over 65, people with chronic diseases or with weakened immunity (mentioned above) are most likely to suffer from pneumonia. Usually, with proper treatment, the disease recedes (on average) in three weeks.

Only the doctor can give the exact diagnosis, having directed you to hand over blood tests, sputum and to make a chest x-ray. Only after this, it will be possible to unequivocally determine whether pneumonia is or not. If so, it will be clarified what kind of nature it is (and what pathogenic microorganisms it is caused by). Only after this it will be possible to prescribe the necessary antibiotics for pneumonia. Anything that is prescribed in a different way can be harmful! Typically, this disease is treated with the following medications: "Ceftriaxone", "Cefotaxime" (group of cephalosporins), "Amikacin", "Tevomycin" (aminoglycoside group), "Azithromycin", "Erythromycin" (macrolide group). In any case, the treatment is chosen by a doctor!

An obligatory stage of recovery is recovery after pneumonia, because you need to adapt the body to the habitual before the disease way of life. Since pneumonia affects the lungs, during the recovery you need to pay special attention to the respiratory system. Usually, walks are prescribed, which are useful for breathing and the whole organism. It is very effective exercise such as walking on the stairs, and it is important to gradually increase the load. It is also worth pondering over a special massage. If you follow all the recommendations, the recovery will be quick and without complications.
