Adolf Hitler: paintings with names, photos of Hitler's paintings

It is known that Hitler was fascinated with photographs, but even more interest in him was caused by painting. His vocation was fine art. Adolf was fond of drawing. The paintings of Adolf Hitler are for the most part a landscape. Nature was imprinted on them with indescribable love and a subtle sense of shadow and light. The paintings of Adolf Hitler are painted in watercolor. They lay for 70 years in one of the attics, and later many of them were sold at auction.

Hitler is an artist whose paintings are so sensual and beautiful that one might even think that they were written by a man completely remote from conquest. It's amazing how one person can combine so many contradictory features.

Adolf Hitler and his paintings

Such a picture as "The Night Sea" was written by Adolf about a century ago. According to ITAR-TASS, it was sold at an auction in Slovakia for 32 thousand euros. Yaroslav Kraynak - representative of the well-known auction house Darte - said that it was put up for auction by the Slovak family, which was inherited after the Second World War.

In 2009, at an auction held in Shropshire (English county), 13 paintings were sold, which were written by the Nazi dictator in a relatively early period. The total cost is 95 thousand pounds sterling.

Jefferys Regular Auction

Most of the paintings were found in the attic of a house in the 80s in a city called Ui. According to family tradition, these pictures, sealed in a box, left two French refugees who were returning home after the war.

The Belgian pensioner thought that several thousand pounds would not be superfluous, and therefore contacted the auction house. She asked to put pictures (20 canvases), signed by A. Hitler », for sale.

The authorship of Adolf Hitler has not been precisely established to this day, since Belgian experts who could confirm their authenticity in the 80s have long since died. It is for certain only that the age of the paper supports the hypothesis concerning the authorship of Hitler. Historians also confirm the fact that the Fuhrer was at that time near the landscapes imprinted in his paintings.

As a result, the auction house accepted all the pictures for sale. According to their calculations, the revenue was to be 70 thousand pounds. But the auction brought in more than 2 times the amount predicted, 176 thousand pounds. The most expensive watercolor was sold for 10.5 thousand pounds sterling, and the cheapest - for 3 thousand pounds sterling.

Who buys the paintings of A. Hitler?

It became known that the most money buyer is an anonymous Russian businessman. He bought a painting for 10,500 pounds sterling, which in dollars is 20,000. Its name is "Church of Pres-o-Bois". Also our businessman bought 4 more landscapes of the same series. All the pictures are signed "A. Hitler ».

Painting of A. Hitler

In 1900, 11-year-old Adolf shook his father with a statement that he wants to become an artist. Alois (Hitler's father) dreamed that his son would become a major successful official, but the young Adolf did not study well, constantly received comments on discipline, behavior. Only drawing was given to him with ease.

After the death of his father, his mother Clara stayed with five children, and later also learned that she was mortally ill. She allowed Adolph to enter the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. He disregarded the preparation for the entrance exams, in view of which in 1907 he failed all tasks. In order not to upset the dying mother, he lied about going to the Academy of Arts.

After the death of his mother, Adolf moved to live with a friend. He was ashamed of his failure, so every day he walked the streets, admiring the urban architecture of Vienna.

In 1908, Hitler made the 2 nd attempt to enter the Academy of Arts. But the selection committee did not even look at his work. After this, Adolf fell into depression and found himself along with the tramps.

In 1910, Hitler accidentally met with R. Ganish and informed him that he was drawing well. Rheingold misunderstood him, taking Adolf as a simple painter. Subsequently, after seeing the pictures of Adolf Hitler (photos of which are presented below), he suggested starting a joint business. After that he began to draw city buildings, landscapes on canvases, the size of which was no more than postcards. And Rheingold successfully sold them for 20 kroons in hotels and inns. Later, when Adolf moved to Munich, his paintings began to sell more, bringing him an income already above average.

The second stage of Hitler's creativity

It came when Adolphe stayed at the front. Hitler drew buildings that were destroyed by bombing. It is noteworthy that in his work the images of people in this period of time are almost completely absent.

All in all, under his brush came 3400 paintings, which are written mostly at the front. However, for a number of moral reasons, most expert artists show doubts about the authenticity of the paintings. Professional critics also agree with the lack of any artistic value of these paintings. However, many, in spite of everything, recognize the correct adherence to it of the basic artistic principles and techniques.

Only Doug Harvey had access to all the 4-th secret paintings that Adolf Hitler wrote. Pictures were studied by him in detail, after which he published several articles on his work. There the position of professional art critics and critics regarding the creativity of the Fuhrer is clearly marked. In an interview for The New York Times, Harvey said that when referring to Hitler's paintings, the priests are despicable, as if acknowledging the virtuoso abilities of the Nazi dictator can justify the Holocaust.

Adolf Hitler: paintings today

At the moment, anyone can take pleasure in his canvases. This became possible due to the fact that most of them are presented in Internet galleries. Visitors to these sites leave very conflicting reviews, but still many say that Adolf Hitler, whose paintings admire, surprise, excite the mind, could become a good artist. Some put forward bold assumptions that if Adolphus were admitted to the Academy of Arts, then, for sure, this would change the course of history, there could be no war.

In 2006, the United Kingdom held an auction Jefferys, where a number of works by beginning artists were exhibited, among which was Adolf Hitler (his pictures are presented below).

Most of the paintings, watercolors of Adolf are now located in the secret safes of the Center for Military History of the US Army. There they were at the end of the war from the collection of the German photographer G. Hoffmann, where they were from the beginning of the 1920s. Only a few art experts have access to them. It was decided never to publish them, as they are extremely dangerous.

How many works of Hitler?

A large number of paintings are now, as a rule, in private collections, so the exact number of Hitler's canvases is still unknown. According to art critics, their approximate number is 3400.

Palace of German Art

This is an exhibition hall that appeared in Munich. It regularly showed new pictures. The glass palace was built shortly after the end of the First World War. Even then, Hitler intended to build an art museum, which was supposed to be more beautiful, grandiose than before. In 1933 the builders laid the first stone at the base of the exhibition gallery, which was named as the Palace of German Art.

Adolf Hitler, together with the largest architect Ludwig Troost, developed a plan for the construction of the palace. Already in 1937 the opening of the exhibition gallery took place. Adolf Hitler discovered the very first exhibition. The paintings sent by the German artists did not all go there, but only those that the Führer liked. Many German painters painted in an unacceptable Jewish manner that developed in the post-war period.

To emphasize the obvious difference, Adolf organized nearby another exhibition called "Degenerative Art". So they found their place paintings, written in the Jewish manner. Visitors and artists were given the opportunity to evaluate and compare the work of the 1st and 2nd exhibitions, and then compose their views about what they saw. Undoubtedly, the majority agreed that Hitler was right not buying these pictures.
