The build-up of the gel is not anything complicated. The technology of nail extensions consists of a number of consecutive stages.

The first step is to remove the cuticle and polish the layer of the natural nail. After that, a layer of gel is applied to the polished surface, which is leveled by a brush. Then the nails are placed under the UV lamp for a few minutes, in order for the gel to dry. Such manipulations are repeated two times. At the end of applying the gel, the nail surface is treated with alcohol and the desired shape is given to the nail. The whole process takes about two hours. Gel nails are very durable, but in case of "breakage" they can not be repaired.

Technology of nail acrylic

Acrylic is a powdery material that must be mixed with a special solvent before application. Viscous and thick acrylic quickly seizes after application, so work with it can only be done by professionals. After drying, acrylic is leveled and polished. Acrylic acrylic nails look natural and effective. The whole procedure takes about two hours. Its main advantage is the fact that acrylic is removed using a specially designed solution and does not require cutting. But the main disadvantage is a specific persistent medical smell.

Each of these types of build-up requires a subsequent correction, which is usually done every three weeks.
