The job of "ad-spreader": the pitfalls of a simple job

On the Internet, newspapers and employment magazines, you can often find an ad: "Work for students: an advertiser. The schedule is free ». At first glance, the work seems simple and attractive. Walking around the area, hang out ads. But ... Few people know that these workers are most often without salary. Because they do not know: even such a simple post has instructions. Not all employers report them to students. Then, for failing to fulfill their duties, they are fined. Or if the employer does not deceive, policemen can punish the placement of leaflets in unauthorized places. To work "billboard ads" has brought at least a small income, you need to come to work very seriously.

Job description

Finding the job of an ad sticker is easy. It is more difficult to properly settle into it. Even a temporary worker, employers should familiarize themselves with the instructions that determine the main points of his work. The applicant is obliged to know: only the head of the department or subdivision is entitled to recruit a distributor. He also submits to the spreader. Recommendations of other, subordinate leaders, he must perform only if they do not contradict the directives of the immediate superior. The work of "ad-spreader" implies compulsory knowledge:

  • Arrangement of billboards, routes between them.
  • Rules for sticking ads.
  • Terms of payment of their labor.
  • Own rights and duties.

If the tenants at least somehow acquaint applicants with the latter, they rarely talk about the rules of sticking out. And they exist.

Ad Layout Rules

  • One of the articles of the Administrative Code explicitly states: a fine of up to 2,500 rubles is levied for placing in unauthorized places, which may be increased by local legislation. The same goes for the Law on Advertising. This means that the job of the "ad booker" requires an exact knowledge of the places where leaflets can be placed.
  • Some cities have their own advertising laws, which you can read before you start. The job of "ad-spreader" is not as simple as it seems at first.

There is one more subtlety. If you have leaflets only in the proper places, then there will be no response to them. Therefore, experienced spreaders recommend placing them on the walls of houses, access doors, poles, shop windows. But ... This, first, is contrary to the Law. Secondly, such a distributor can simply be beaten by local residents. Conclusion: the work of "advertising sticker" requires intelligence and the ability to make quick decisions. This is simply necessary, because the standard instruction very clearly states that it is the distributor who is personally responsible for:

  • Violation of provisions that determine the procedure for the operation of the enterprise;
  • Improper performance of their duties (for example, violation of the law);
  • (In particular, he can be forced to paint at his own expense the wall, on which he slapped the ad).

Work "Billboard ads" brings a penny. Before you approach it, it's worth thinking about whether you need to do this.
