About the drug "Lorahexal" reviews are mostly only positive. The medication has shown its effectiveness in adults and children. The drug "Lorahexal" instruction refers to the pharmaceutical group of H1-histamine receptor blockers. Loratadine is the active ingredient in Lauragexal.

The instruction to the preparation gives clear instructions. That it can be recommended for allergic rhinitis (all-the-year-round and seasonal), conjunctivitis, reactions to insect bites, itchy dermatoses, hay fever, hives of idiopathic chronic course.

Lorahexal recommends the instruction for pseudoallergic conditions associated with the action of histamine-liberators. Indications include angioedema. In bronchial asthma, this medicine is used as an auxiliary medicine.

Contraindicated medication with lactation, children under two years of age, individual sensitivity. During the gestation of the child, the use of the drug Lauragexal is allowed only by the decision of the doctor and under his supervision.

An increase in the concentration of loratadine, as well as its active degradation product, is noted with simultaneous administration of ketoconazole, erythromycin, cimetidine.

The use of Lorahexal can cause erythema multiforme, an increase in the size of the chest, weight gain, alopecia (rarely), tenderness in the mammary glands, increased sweating. Negative reactions are photosensitivity, chills, fever, malaise, thirst, dry skin and hair.

When using the drug, tachyarrhythmia (supraventricular), tachycardia, palpitation, hypotension or hypertension, anaphylaxis (very rarely) are noted. Adverse reactions can be angioedema, itching, dermatitis, urticaria, rash on the skin, hyperemia.

In some cases, back pain, cramps in the calf muscles, myalgia, arthralgia, swelling, impotence, vaginitis, menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, soreness with urge to urinate, change in the shade of urine. Side effects include dyspnea, infections in the upper parts of the respiratory tract, soreness in the chest, bronchospasm, bronchitis, hemoptysis, cough, pharyngitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, nosebleeds, dry nose and mouth, nasal congestion.

Taking the drug may provoke liver necrosis, hepatitis, jaundice (very rarely), diarrhea, constipation, dyspepsia, flatulence, gastritis, vomiting, stomatitis, toothache, eating disorder, nausea, anorexia in some patients. When Lorahexal was used, tinnitus, blepharospasm, conjunctivitis, impaired function of lacrimation, visual disturbance, dysphonia were also noted.

Negative reactions can be paresthesia, hypesthesia, tremor, depression, amnesia, fainting, insomnia, increased excitation (in children), anxiety, nervousness, dizziness, impaired concentration, increased fatigue.

When an overdose is noted tachycardia, drowsiness, pain in the head. In such a case, it is necessary to provoke vomiting with syrup of ipecacuana (emetic root), gastric lavage. Coal activated. Supportive and symptomatic therapy is prescribed.

If it is necessary to carry out skin tests for allergens, the drug "Lorahexal" recommends that the instruction be canceled at least one week before the proposed study.
