Skeleton costume: gloomy, but charming

Usually, various outfits for Halloween are prepared in advance, because this is one of the most interesting and colorful carnival holidays. You can go to specialized stores and buy something like that, and you can rent it (also a good option, given that the next October 31 will want to dress up someone else). However, if there is a desire, time and a droplet of abilities, most of the outfits can be made on their own, while spending quite a bit of money and effort. It can be witches, zombies with ghouls, fairies, leprechauns, angels and demons, any otherworldly creatures and even pirates and personalities from the Middle Ages. However, the presence of one character remains traditionally unchanged. So, we make a skeleton costume.

Why he

This image, despite the well-known gloom and a noticeable touch of sepulchral melancholy, is one of the most popular on Halloween, besides it can be very simply made from quite handy tools lying in their own closet. Species of skeletons can be a great variety - from sexy beauties in mini dresses to the beautiful Dead Bride from the famous cartoon with the voice of Johnny Depp. There is a suit of clothes and make-up (the latter is not necessarily an essential element).

What is needed: option number 1

So, how to make a skeleton costume? We crawl into the closet and conduct an audit. We will need a black swimsuit and black leggings, or a black sports suit, a white sticky tape, a plaster or white paint on the fabric, powder or white, a black eyeliner. We put on all of the above, glue or draw bones, cover the white face, we call bruises under the eyes. Everything, you can go on holiday.

Option number 2

A beautiful skeleton costume can also be built from such a set: we take a black turtleneck, the same trousers of the same color, Czechs, black gloves, a hat that will become an imitation of the skull. The color scale can be classical, that is black-and-white, and can also alternative, for example, yellow-blue or blue-red (although such variants are less common). For the skull you need two pieces of cloth, black and white.

Getting Started

The skeleton suit in this version is done like this: using a pattern or directly on the eye, we draw the bones of the chest, spine, pelvis and limbs (or cut them out of white cloth and sew on black clothes). For the skull we take the prepared linen, we sew from it a pipe, the top of which we sew. It turns out like a cap. We make cuts for our eyes, we sew the skull bones from white fabric, put them on the head and put the lower edge into the turtleneck. You can, for sure, sew it to the collar. In principle, making a skeleton suit with your own hands, you can take clothes with a hood, and do not cover your face with a mask, and paint - so it will also be spectacular.

Option number 3

The skeleton costume in the first and second versions is suitable for both adults and children. Girls can wear black leggings with painted bones and a short dress, open or closed - as you like. The skeleton costume looks as good as a hoodie, on which bones are drawn.
