Reinforced concrete well: dimensions, GOST. Reinforced concrete products

Prefabricated concrete well is one of the most popular and demanded products, which is famous for its long operational life and high mechanical strength and reliability. This is the most optimal ratio of quality and price. Such concrete products are made much easier and faster than other wells. Optimal installation time is considered to be early autumn, when the groundwater table is the lowest. A well of reinforced concrete can have a variety of sizes , depending on the size of the rings.

Design Features

The arrangement of such wells is quite simple, however, when they are erected, all the requirements of GOST and SNiP should be taken into account. These vertical hollow structures consist of:

  • Bottom part with a blind bottom;
  • Walled well rings with a diameter of 1000-1500 mm (they choose the right depth);
  • Special rings with a diameter of 600 mm, which regulate the height of the well and put into the neck;
  • Cover installed on the hatch.

As a rule, prefabricated reinforced concrete wells are almost or completely submerged in the ground and located below or above the water table.

When installing to form the tray part, concrete is poured on their bottom.

Reinforced concrete rings for a well

These concrete products form the well's well. The rings are a crate made of metal reinforcement and covered with concrete. Products are produced in accordance with GOST 8020-90 by vibrocompression from heavy concrete, due to which the exact size and high density of the walls are obtained. Used to form and stack a concrete well.

Concrete cover

This element of reinforced concrete wells is made of high-strength concrete. It is used as an overlapping plate at the completion of installation of well rings. The covers have a round shape and an opening from above, on which the hatch rests. This structural element prevents foreign objects from entering and protects against contamination. A lid is made for a well made of heavy concrete and without reinforcement, thereby providing increased strength and reliability.

Bottom for a well

This is an important and necessary element for prefabricated wells, which is a reinforced concrete monolithic plate of round shape. The bottom first descends into the well shaft. From above on it rings of a well and a cover with the hatch are fastened. It is on how well it is made and correctly installed, the efficiency of using the well depends.

Types and purposes of the wells

By designation ZHB-wells are divided into several types:

  • Sewage (treatment, drainage). Designed to create a sewerage system in the areas of pipe changes, bends, etc.
  • Water supply. Served as elements of heat and water supply, water supply network.
  • Gas-conducting. They are elements of the main gas pipelines.

In terms of functionality, a concrete well can be:

  1. Lookout. Serves to control the operation of the entire system.
  2. Differently. Used when turning the network, in places where there are strong pipe changes, when pipelines of different depths are combined into one network, and so on.
  3. Turning. It is used in the place where the pipes rotate to prevent blockage. In addition, it is often used as a review.
  4. Filtration (filtering). Required for sewage treatment. The reinforced concrete well is installed above the water table.
  5. Accumulative. It is used for accumulation of wastewater and is most often installed at the lowest point of the plot in order to ensure the optimum slope of the sewage pipeline.

Advantages of reinforced concrete

  1. Strength of reinforced concrete. Reinforced concrete can withstand the loads that arise as a result of ground pressure, and due to its dense structure it is not washed away by groundwater.
  2. Reinforced concrete can be built in any soil.
  3. The walls of the inner surface of the wells can be easily cleaned without the use of special equipment and qualified specialists.
  4. Long service life even when used in places with high humidity and aggressive environments.
  5. Ease and ease of installation and repair.
  6. Concrete is inert, due to what does not affect the quality of water when it is used for a key well.
  7. Low cost of reinforced concrete wells. It requires minimal costs for its construction and further operation.

Mounting Features

The process of assembling ferro-concrete wells is performed in several stages:

  1. First of all, it is necessary to clearly define the place where the well will be built. It should not be installed on the slopes of ravines, gullies, banks of rivers, because then they will take groundwater. In addition, an important negative factor is the contamination of groundwater by various chemical fertilizers, which are used in adjacent areas and fall into the ground through emissions and sewage production.
  2. After choosing a place, they begin to work on punching directly the shaft of the well (shaft). This process is quite laborious and depends largely on the depth of the soil and the aquifer. Using modern technology allows you to drill very quickly.
  3. The incoming water is pumped out.
  4. Filling and tamping of the filter layers is performed. Then carefully install the first ring. It is from the correctness of its installation that the verticality of the mine depends.
  5. To carry out the assembly of the rings, as a rule, use lifting equipment or special devices, installed directly above the shaft.
  6. After each installation of the ring, metal fasteners are fastened, which are subsequently used as a ladder for work in the well.
  7. Connections between the rings are sealed, and the free space between the walls of the concrete rings is covered with soil and carefully compacted.
  8. The hatch is covered with clay, ventilation is installed, and the lid is closed with a lid.

Reinforced concrete wells have repeatedly proven the reliability of protecting pipelines from various types of damage through the use of high-quality materials, strength, ease of installation.

Size and price

The size of the rings depends on the type of well. Today's construction market offers the following products:

  • Diameter - within the range of 70-250 cm.
  • The average height is 50 cm (there are products up to 3 m)

For small wells in private construction small rings are used. The most popular are:

  • COP-7-1. The inner diameter of this product is 70 cm, the height of the walls is 10 cm, the width is 8 cm, weight is 46 kg.
  • COP-7-10. This is a universal product, whose height is 1 m, weight - 457 kg.

The price of concrete rings depends on their size. Larger products are more expensive.

For example, small COP-7-1 cost an average of 340 rubles. for a unit. The cost of COP-7-5 and КС-7-6 is 900-920 rubles. The price of universal brands KS-7-10 is about 1500 rubles. The largest rings will cost about 5,000 rubles.
