Venus is the second planet from the Sun. It has a circular orbit, which this celestial body circumvents for 225 days by terrestrial measures. It is interesting that it rotates on its axis in the opposite direction, opposite to the orbital one. This slow and reverse movement suggests that if you look at the Sun from Venus, it rises and sets twice a year, and the day on Venus is equal to 117 terrestrial.

This planet - the most "approximate" to the Earth, because it approaches the minimum distance to it (relative to other planets in the solar system) - 45 million km.

The atmosphere on it is hot and dry due to the greenhouse effect created by a dense layer of carbon dioxide, which contributes to the preservation of heat.

Every 7 months for a couple of weeks in the sky, you can see the brightest object in the evening in the western part of the sky - Venus. And for 3.5 months it goes back 3 hours before the Sun in the east. Because of this, poets often in her works called her "evening" or "morning" star. In this small period of time, the brightness of her vision is 20 times greater than the brightness of Sirius (the brightest star of the northern part of the sky).

The angle between Venus and the Sun never reaches more than 47 °.
